I wore my black suit under the assassin's cloak and my mask. I never thought that I would find myself in this outfit again an if Terrin saw I could only imagine his disappointment. Using my magic I was at the battle field in mere seconds.
When I got there carnage had spread all around me. I didn't wretch like most would instead I drew my blades and became a swirling storm of blades and blood. Many bodies lay dead at my feet I didn't let myself care the minute I did that would be the minute I died. I continued.
Soon there were only castle soldiers backing toward the castle and a wall of shadow. I'm guessing I slaughtered all of there regular men. When those in the shadow realized this they retreated. One of the generals came up "Thank you for assisting us" I held up a hand and shook my head.
I didn't want thanks not for what I just did there was nothing worthy if thanks in what I just did. It was only necessary nothing more than that. Handing him a note I walked off. All the note would tell him is that I would continue to assist them in further battles but they wouldn't see me outside of that.
Simon would regret the day he tried to even touch my kingdom there would be no mercy.
All that would be left of any army that didn't retreat was a sea of blood and carnage. I would be a relentless murderer if that's what it would take to save my land and the people I cared for and to anyone who got in my way pry that I never find you.
Returning to the forest I smiled for once eager to see what my dreams would bring.
