You didn't know what to do. Panicking was understandable in a situation like this but not wise. You had been captured by Eggman just a few hours ago and were now being strapped to his latest machine. You had no way of escaping.

A few hours earlier: "green hill zone is nice this time of year, huh Shadow?" You said with a pleasant smile as you admired the lush green paradise.

 "Hrmph"  was his only reply.

You frowned.

"Eh, ignore him, (y/n), sweetie, what can ya do with a grump like that?" Smirked Rouge as she took a flower in her fingers and crossed her legs as she sat down. It was a quiet day, maybe even too quiet, that was why Eggman decided to come and rain on your parade.

He just appeared out of nowhere with the eggmobile and tons of robots by his side.

"Uh,  no, why today Eggman?" Said Rouge, sassily as she got up and started kicking some serious robot butt. She, Shadow and Omega were too distracted with the fight to realise Eggman had just got away and took you with him. You tried calling out for help, but it was no use, they just couldn't hear you.

Present time: You tried your very hardest to break free from the cage he had placed you in but it wasn't any good. You were imprisoned in his lair and there was too many cameras to escape.

That was when Eggface himself decided to pay you a little visit. "Ah, (y/n), my dear, I guess you're wondering why I brought you here" said the maniacal genius, twirling his moustache.

 "No, not really, I'm wondering what's your problem" you snarled.

"Well, just to clarify it for you, you're here so I can harness your Fulgurkinesis and rule the world! "

 "my fulwhatisnis? "

"Your electricity manipulation! Oh, just think what I could do with such powers!"

 " Make free coffee? " you replied sarcastically.

 "Well yes, that's not such a bad idea actually, but you get the picture "

Shadow's pov: "Rouge, I'm telling you! Eggman came, (y/n) is gone! It's not a coincidence" I waved my hands about and tried to explain to the bat, but she just wasn't taking it in.

"Shadow, honey, (y/n) can take care of herself. She probably just went home, maybe she's tired"

"I doubt it "

"Well we'll check round on her and see if she's alright, come on" 

We made it to her door and knocked on it a few times.

"(y/n), open up!" I cried. No answer. " She's not here"

"You might have a point about Eggman" she pondered.

"Yes! Of course I do! We have to save her!"

" Let's get Sonic, see if he can help"

"There's no time!"

That was when Omega piped in. "I believe Rouge had a point. Two hands are better than one"

"Thanks for the input" I huffed. "But hurry up!
