It was just a regular day for the Silver hedgehog. There hadn't been much sight of Eggman recently and he was enjoying the time he got to himself to relax, and that's exactly what he intended to do today. He just wanted to take in the sights of the past and just lay back and rest for a while and so he knew exactly where to go. The park! He smiled and gazed around at the serene beauty of the place, the trees, the water, the world was a great place when you weren't constantly battling a crazy old man. He cherished the sounds of the birds and mobian kids giggling and playing together. He sat on the bench and just sank back and chilled. It was so peaceful that he could've fallen asleep, but he was disturbed by a strange noise.

"Huh?" He opened his eyes and looked around to see where the noise was coming from. It wasn't coming from anywhere out in plain sight, so he took a look around to see what it was. He followed his senses and they led him to a bush. He searched through it and then gasped at what he saw. A roboticized mobian! "Robotnik" He growled and clenched his fists together in anger. He had a strong sense of justice, and to something like this happen to one of his kind stirred in him a burning fury. He knew that your metal form would be too heavy to lift and so he used his powers to levitate your body out. You were cold but alive. He was shocked to see a pretty young (a/t) who was almost all roboticized. He waved a hand over your face to try and wake you up, but it was no use. He didn't know much about robots and mechanics, but he knew someone who did.

"What's wrong with her, Tails?" He for the hundredth time as he paced around the floor in worry and anticipation.

"Well, Silver, like i said before, she's mostly rusty, but she's tired and out cold. I'll do what i can to help her, but she'll need a lot of rest and time to recover by the looks of things" The young fox explained.

"Rest and recovery, got it" He began taking mental notes. They both waited for a while and you eventually began to come around.

"She's waking up!" Cried Tails and Silver rushed to check on you. You slowly opened your eyes and looked around and your eyes widened as you caught sight of the unfamiliar surroundings and you were met with the gaze of two male mobians. You flinched in terror.

"It's okay, we're your friends" The little fox smiled and put a gloved paw out to you. You hesitated for a moment and then took his paw and got up. "I'm Tails, nice to meet you"

"And I'm Silver" The hedgehog smiled. "It was me who found you. Are you alright?" He asked frantically.

"I-I'm ok, i think" You answered and rubbed the back of your head. "Where am i?"

"You're here in my workshop, my friend, Silver, found you in a bush in the park"

"What were you doing there?" The hedgehog asked.

You recalled your last memories and you immediately started tearing up. Tears were welling up your eyes and you started to rust again.

"Hey, now! Don't cry!" You fox rushed to oil you. He then got this notification on a device he had. "Oh, that's Sonic, i gotta run, Silver, you'll be alright, won't you?"

"Of course! I should be leaving anyway"

"Can i join you?" You asked him.

"Yeah! Of course!" He smiled and offered you his hand. You were a little wary but you went with him. "So what you were you doing in that bush if you don't mind me asking?"

"I-i" You looked like you were going to start crying again, but you stopped yourself. "I was captured by Robotnik, look what he did to me!" You sobbed and showed him your metal parts. He looked saddened and deeply disturbed to think that that man, that monster could do a thing like that to you.

"I knew this was his work" He girned. "But don't worry, the freedom fighters and i have been working TIRELESSLY to put and end to his reign of terror" He tried to assure you.

"You and the freedom fighters?" You sniffled and listened to him. 

"Yeah!" He then went on to tell you about Sonic and all his friends and their efforts to save the world. He also told you that he had come from the future to save his broken world and he explained to you about his psychic powers. You listened intently to this kind stranger. He was about your age, sweet, maybe a little naive, but he had a heart of gold and you soon felt secure with him and how he told you he was going to protect you.

"But that's enough about me" He chuckled and shook his head as he thought he had rambled on about himself for long enough. "what's your name, huh? What's your story?"

You told him your name was (y/n) and your life before this happened to you. You explained how you had been kidnapped and how you escaped and ran away. You told him that you must've been there for a few days, only alive because of your new mechanical parts, and you made sure to tell him just how you appreciated how he had saved you.

"Silver...i just want to say thank you for saving me, i don't know what would've happened to me if you hadn't come along" You smiled at him. He had taken you to one of the places of this time that he had grown fond of for something to eat. He bought you a decent meal and you ate it all up as you were starving.

He blushed as you put out your paw on his and gave him such a warm smile. "Well, it's just what heroes do, i guess"

You both left the place together before it started to rain. He quickly pulled out his umbrella and sheltered you under it so you wouldn't rust.

"Thanks" You just couldn't believe how considerate someone could be. You leaned in and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek, making his simp heart melt as you both walked off together. You didn't know how all this would turnout, but you knew that it would be alright now that you had a friend.
