Maekayla's point of view

I sat on the counter, eating a banana slowly. No one was home, at least, I believe so. Michael wasn't in his room, the boys weren't in the guest rooms, and my parents' cars were here.

And how exactly was I spending my time home alone?

Eating a banana in my kitchen with a baggy sweatshirt (which isn't mine) and a pair of black leggings on. My hair was in a wet, messy side braid because I had showered and I had yet to brush my teeth.

My phone rang and I jumped at the loud sudden noise. I swallowed the food in my mouth and then picked up my phone. "Hello?" I asked, not bothering to check the number.

"Hey Kay," the familiar voice of my ex boyfriend said. I smiled and then chuckled. "I think I left something of mine there, can I come over and get it?" He asked me and I nodded.

Idiot, he can't see you. If he could see you however, he'd still laugh at your stupidity.

"Yeah, if you want." I told him as I threw the banana peel in the garbage not to far away. "What is it?" I asked him.

"I think I left my wallet," he said and chuckled to himself. "I'm an idiot." He said and I laughed as I walked to my room.

"Same," I said and grabbed a brush. "So, I'll see you in fifteen minutes?" I asked and he agreed. "Ill see you soon then," I said and he returned it.

I hung up the phone and smiled. Something about him made me happy, but I wasn't sure what. I should hate him for what he did to me. I should hate him for breaking my heart and lying to me. I did hate him for a few weeks, but I don't anymore.

Is this normal?

I went to my bathroom and then washed my face quickly. I then brushed my teeth and once I finished, my door bell rang. I spat out the water in my mouth and wiped it real quickly.

I walked to my front door and then opened it. "Hey," I said and opened my door wider so he can walk in. Max walked in, his hands in the pockets of his khaki skinny pants and his teeth biting on his bottom lip.

"I haven't seen your wallet," I said and he held out a black leather wallet. "Is that-"

"Yep," he said and stuck it back in his backpocket. "I didn't leave my wallet, I left something else." He said and looked at me in the eyes.

"What is it?" I asked and he stepped closer to me. His brown eyes flickered to my lips and his own curled into a small smile.

"You," he aswered and pressed me against the door softly. "I left you." He repeated and although I shouldn't have, I leaned in and kissed his oh-so inviting lips.

He kissed me back and a thought occured me. Are we going to fast? We barely met up after weeks and now we're making out against my front door. He's even asked me out, to which I said yes to.

The thought of us moving to fast was melted away however when his teeth bit down on my bottom lip. The door opened suddenly and I fell on top of Max.

We stared at each other for a second before bursting out into hysterics. I rolled over and looked up at who had opened the door on our make-out session.

Fuck you mister Luke Hemmings.

"What's going on?" I heard Michael's voice ask and I looked at Max. "And you're that guy who was here a few days ago."

"Yeah," he said and nodded. "And me and Kay were having a tickle fight, to which I won." He said and I pouted. "Though, she did almost make me wet my pants."

"Oh," Michael said and nodded. "Um, if you'd like, you can stay. We were just going to play some video games and eat some pizza."

"I'm not hungry," I said and every single boy in the room gave me a 'you're lying' look. "I just had breakfast. A bowl of oatmeal and a banana. I'm fine." I said, not lying entirely.

I did have breakfast, I had a banana, which was more than enough for today. However, I had not eaten oatmeal.

"We don't have oatmeal here." Michael said and I watched as he set the pizza boxes on the table. God damn, that boy had four boxes of nothing but grease and calories. "Grab a slice," he told me and I shook my head.

"I ate," I said again and suddenly I was being stood up. "I'm not a baby, I can walk." I said and I heard Max laugh. "Want to know what else I'm not? Hungry." I said and he sat me down at the table.

"Please," he asked me. "I know when you lie, I know you barely ate anything, I know you. Just one slice, a small one if you'd like, but please eat."

"What do I get in return?" I asked him jokingly. Not meaning to take it seriously.

"Recovery," he answered and opened the box. "Grab a slice while I get you a plate." He said and I sighed. I looked at the greasy food and grabbed the smallest one I could find.

I grimaced slightly and dropped it on the plate as soon as Max gave it to me. "I'll um, go eat in my room. I don't like video games anymore."

"That's fine," Ashton said with a smile. I stood up and wiped my hands on my leggings. Ew, my thighs jiggled way to much as I did so.

I took the plate up to my room and set it on my nightstand. I didn't want to eat it, but knowing these guys, one of them will be up here in a few seconds to make sure I ate.

"Yo," someone said and I saw Max walk in with a plate. He had like four pieces of pizza, holy damn boy. He sat down next to me and smiled.

"If you eat your pizza, all of it, I'll take you on a shopping trip aswell." He said and took a bit out of his own slice. "My parents won't mind me taking a few hundred dollars out of their thousands and thousands."

"Maybe I will eat this then," I said and we both laughed. I grabbed the plate and then looked at him, who was chewing with a raised eyebrow.

"You owe me," I said and then took a bite out of the greasy food. I set on my plate and then rubed my hands on my pants. "It's so greasy,"

"It's pizza," he said as if I was stupid. "It's supposed to be greasy, it's what makes it good. If there's no grease, it's not a pizza. It's a piece of dough with tomato sauce on it."

"Gotta get a literal on me," I joked and he nodded. I took another bite of the pizza and chewed slowly. "Do I have to eat the crust too?" I asked and he nodded. Dammit.

By the time I finished, I felt like I was going to explode. I hated it. I've never eaten this much in a day, nor have I ever wanted ti ever since maybe year seven or eight.

"There you go Kay, see? That wasn't so hard." He said happily and I smiled. At least I made him happy, and the boys, probably. "Now, go get dressed. I need tomlive up to my promise. Ill go take the dishes."

"We're going today?" I asked and he nodded as he stood up. "Um, okay then." I said and got up myself. "See you in maybe thirty, forty mimutes." I said and he nodded.
