Maekayla's point of view

I looked around the area, feeling small and invisible. The guys were joking around together and everyone here looked so professional. Here I was, jeggings, a blue flannek shirt, and my hair put in a high ponytail.

I felt under dressed since allmof the stage workers wore really expensive looking clothes and since the guys' clothes are probably worth more than my life, even if they were worn down and ripped.

I also felt out of place. Everyone got along so well together and here I was, quiet, awkward, and shy. I wasn't talking and I was barely making eye contact.

When I felt eyes on me, I looked up slightly. This man who looked around my age was staring at me, this strange gleam in his eye and a sickening smile on his lips. He shamelessly checked me out anf I stood closer to Ashton and Calum since they looked the most intimidating at the moment.

"What's wrong Kayla?" Calum asked me, noticing the spontaneous action. I was practically clinging on to his arm because this man was scaring me.

"Um nothing," I said, not wanting him to make a big deal of it. "Just a bit um cold." I told him and he nodded. "It's fine though, don't worry."

"I have a black hoodie in the dressing room, you can wear that." He told me and I nodded. I was grateful he didn't see through my lie but at the same time I guess I was expecting him to tell me I was a liar.

"Hey guys, you need to be onstage in about five minutes. Do some final touch-ups on hair and such then be out. Wouldn't want to be late, would you?" The creepy man spoke to the boys.

"Of course David, just let me take our friend here to our dressing room." Luke told him and he nodded, walking away. However, don't think I didn't notice that smile appear on his face.

I don't want to be alone guys...

"We'll be back in ten minutes tops babe." Ashton said and Michael, glared at the boy because of the pet name. "Don't wander off too much." He told me.

"I'm eighteen Ash, I think I know what to do. Just go and do your thing." I told them, though I didn't want them to leave.

"Okay then," he told me. "Be safe and don't drink the water, it probably comes from the toilets." He said and I laughed. I wished them luck and soon, they walked out.

I looked around the dressing room and spotted a large black hoodie. I grabbed it and put it over my plaid shirt, leaving it unzipped. I heard the door open and I turned around, thinking it was one of the guys.

"Why is such a fine little thing like yourself doing with those idiots?" I heard the barely familiar voice ask me. I grimaced at the way he called me a thing, rather than a person, or a girl.

"Can you-Can you please leave me alone? I'm in no mood for anything. My head hurts." I told him, lying about my head hurting.

"Aww come on, I know you want me. I could see it in the way you look at me." He must have mistaken fear for lust then.

"I'll call security if you come closer." I warned him, my hand on the table which hid a security button. One push and the guys' security team comes after.

"Baby," he told me, pulling out his wallet and showing me his I.D. "I am the security." He told me. "Now, I command you to come here."

"No," I said but he approve of my answer. He walked up to me and grabbed my wrists, making me wince. "Go away. What do you want?"
