Peter's 18th Birthday

Just pretend this was posted on August 12, ok? ok.

Also, I'm writing a ton to catch up on August right now, so don't be surprised if you get an odd amount of chapters tonight. Ok? ok.

The video opens to Peter, Ned, MJ, Harley, Betty, and Ismay sitting on Peter's bed.

"Hey guys, welcome back to the Ironfam!" Peter says brightly. "So, today is currently August 3, and my birthday is a week away! Soon, I will officially be an adult."

"Which is so weird," Ned shudders.

"Can you guys believe he's the oldest one here?" Harley says. "It's ridiculous."

{cut}

"Anyway," Peter rolls his eyes. "So, as I am turning 18, I decided I wanted to do a bit of a... teenage tradition? I guess? I dunno, it's something a lot of people seem to do when they turn 18."

"He's getting a tattoo," Harley interrupts.

"Harley!"

{cut}

"As Harley so rudely interrupted me with," Peter glares at Harley, but there's no real anger behind it. "Yes, I have decided to get a tattoo on my 18th birthday. However, we have a couple problems."

"He doesn't know what he wants it to be," Ismay says.

"And he doesn't want Stark to know," MJ adds.

"Yeah," Peter shrugs. "However, we have some solutions. MJ blocked Dad, on all social media, and just posted asking for ideas for tattoos that I should get, which some of you have probably seen by now. The rest of us are about to post it, as well, so we've all blocked Dad, too."

"Peter!" Tony's voice echoes down the hall. "Why have you all blocked me on social media?"

The teenagers all begin laughing.

{cut}

"Guys, it's August 9," Peter whispers to the camera. "I'm 18 tomorrow. Also, I'm doing the thing tomorrow. I'm kinda nervous."

MJ's face appears next to his. "Why are you whispering?"

Peter snorts.

{cut}

Peter is standing outside, apparently on a sidewalk somewhere.

"So!" he exclaims. "I'm officially an adult!"

"So weird," the other five shudder dramatically.

"Shush," Peter says teasingly. He turns back to the camera. "I decided on a tattoo idea. We're on our way. Dad doesn't know."

"I dunno how he doesn't know," Betty says, sounding surprised. "I mean, I would have thought he'd have figured out that we're all blocking him cuz we're hiding something, then just hacked our accounts to see what it is."

"He values privacy," Harley says. "He's interrogated Peter and I about it a couple times, but he'd never just hack our accounts."

{cut}

The camera is angled up at Peter's face.

"Guys..." he says.

He turns the camera around, showing that he, along with all his friends, are across the street from a tattoo parlor.

{cut}

The camera is angled low, as though Peter is trying to pretend he isn't filming.

"Yeah, hi," he says, his voice nervous. "I was just wondering if I could maybe get a tattoo?"
