Chapter 23 - Return

PETER'S POV

I felt beforehand the trouble so I eye MJ. She rushes outside with makeshift weapons as I picked up Morgan, calling Loki's phone and alerting him to get Y/N and tell everyone to evacuate. He was already on his way down.

We all rush outside, met with a small army of seemingly power holding people.

"Y/N can not fight," Loki protectively stands in front of her.

"I can!" She defends, already racing to the sorcerers.

"They haven't seen us yet, keep it that way for now," Sam instructs.

"Where is Dad?" Morgan, Y/N and I ask in unison.

"Fuck," Natasha clicks her tongue.

"I am leading, no fights," Y/N nods to us, handing earpieces from her pocket and handing everyone 3 each in case they find Bucky, Captain or Dad.

Loki forms a portal to the safest place for Morgan and Pepper leaves with her.

"Who are these guys?" I ask into the earpiece, invisibly swinging above, "Never mind. These are the people we fought last time,"

I watch over Y/N and Mr Loki who are repeatedly apologising to one another whilst back to back.

Y/N's POV

"Y/N L/N," A voice thunders above us.

"Why does everyone seem to know my name?" I roll my eyes, flying away to a further field with Loki chasing after me, dragging along the smaller villains.

"Y/N?! Where are you?" Dad's voice calls into my earpiece.

"You are safe? Where are Bucky and Thor?" I groan, getting thrown off.

"They're with me, all of us are back at the main grounds?" He replies frantically, "Where are you and Loki?"

"We led the bigger ones further out to avoid damage," I reply as if it were obvious, summoning another forcefield, "I think it is a smarter idea, bring them in a more secluded place," I order, raking another hit as this sorcerer groans.

"Of course, boss," He echoes into the earpiece.

I hear the silence of the others, which proved powerful to my next hit. I leap onto the guy, swooshing my legs over him and slamming him onto the firm dirt, "You are mean to come with us," He growls as I slam a nearby stack of junk cars, stacking them on top of him.

"I do not know of your mere existence," I growl at him, forging a tie between him and the cars and he loses his balance.

He grunts, pulling one or two cars off which I restack onto him, "We can help you," He hisses.

"Did not send the best, did they?" I smile, twisting a vehicle into him as he chokes. I stabilise him quickly, levitating him and watching his furious face at my minimal cuts.

I watch as Loki gracefully slams them on top of one another and drags them along like I do, "Again, I deeply apologise for not listening openly to your true perspective," Loki smiles as he catches a location of the others.

"I apologize much greater, I should never have tried to do something like that," I smile regretfully but my arm is bleeding out again, "Fuck," I swear, lowering to the ground and materialising bandages.

"Language," Nearly everyone laughs.

"Oh shut up, we will be there soon, how are the rest of you doing?" I ask as Loki applies pressure.

"This went really deep, Y/N..." He gives a concerned look.

I check it myself and it's enough to be split. That blade must have been longer than I thought, "I will be fine, just a slight headache..." I say softly to him.

"If you are sure," He nods as we carry on, feeling a sharp stab in my shoulder, "ARGH!" I cry out, turning behind me to see him with his blade again.

"Oh dear Y/N, you really thought you could beat me," Purred his voice as blood gushed out of my shoulder, I stayed up trying, trapping him with my eyes and slamming him onto a car repeatedly but slowly I descended onto the ground and blackness came over me again.

PETER'S POV

I heard her groan and nodded to Mr Stark, "Mr Loki? Where are you?" I ask, swinging above.

"No no no no no..!" He panicked and then growled at the guy, "YOU SHALL PAY FOR THIS,"

"Mr Loki please, where are you?" I repeat to him.

"Lincshiret Drive's oval grass area," He chokes.

"Don't worry Mr Loki," I comfort, swinging over there and within minutes I see a pool of blood over Y/N's limp body.

I hear her loud groan as he materialises a bandage and presses it with her little strength before Loki takes over, "Please do not leave me like this..." He pleads, keeping her half stable.

"Tell them to wipe my memory of you and my past..." She smiles weakly at the god before closing her eyes with a groan.

"Y/N!" I shout, running towards her, "I'm calling Dr Banner,"

He rushes towards her as Loki teleports the three back to the shaken tower, leaving me on my knees in tears. I stare at the unconscious villain with a bloody knife, "She never wanted to kill you," I choke up and run towards him, tying him up and kicking his heavy body to the car again.

I drag him to Mr Stark and put the boy at his feet, "You promised she would be okay," I sobbed.

"Who?" He asks, blasting a few of them down.

"Y/N," I scoff as his face falls.
