LOKI'S POV
I had not seen her since that day I watched her study, Thor refused to talk to me about her, subtly hinting she did not want to. The tower was in festivities for the engagement and the secretive celebrations of Y/N. Everyone seemed half dull, seemingly knowing that Y/N wasn't coming home.
What I may have done wrong left a hard weight on my shoulder as guilt constantly taunted me, knocking my my door each night, it pushed at me for my mistakes. That girl has me begging on my knees for her...
I had seen a mere picture of her smiling to the camera, printed on Natasha's wall, her smile having lit me up, the warm feeling of security hugged my heart for that little moment.
She was 21 tomorrow, there was no way that she wouldn't come back.
TONY'S POV
THE NEXT DAY
I never imagine that blood would matter so little to me. I always though bloodline would be important to me because of status but no, I had 2 unofficial children and they both were as equal and Morgan. Now one of those children was carrying a baby who she was confused what it was a product of.
It was impossible to believe. Her appetite had grown by so little and she was still jumping up and helping whenever she could. Her recent doctor's appointment revealing she was in fact 5 weeks pregnant.
"That doesn't help anything," She spoke up after walking carefully to the car, stomach had formed a larger than expected bump, showing only in tight dresses.
"I'm positive it's Loki's, don't worry Y/N.." Pepper tried to comfort.
"But what if it's not? What do I do then? It will be dreadfully unfair to us both.."
"You could get a paternity test? If you were looking in my opinion, don't get the test so it's more of a surprise and he will be completely supportive either way." I offer the thought, looking back at Y/N.
Looking as if she was considering it, she nodded slowly after a while, "Could we just go home..?"
I can recall the day so well. She had taken into account my suggestion and was currently groggily talking to Morgan who had inevitably leaped into her bed.
It had been merely a year.
Y/N's POV
I let her lay comfortably on my chest, running a hand through her soft locks.
"Happy Birthday Y/N.." She smiled up at me.
I tried my best to not appear upset. I wasn't meant to be back yet. I didn't want to be back yet. Only Nat knew I was here, Thor only thought I was gone.
Loki knew so little.
