LOKI'S POV
I race around silently in search of him. How did he get it wrong?
I stop and realise she barely remembered me. All those days drifted away for who knows how long. Guilt drowned me as I got back into my room figuring out he was with his family.
Nothing made sense. I was such an idiot.
Y/N's POV
I left quickly to my room and I gulped, staring at the ceiling as tears dripped.
Pepper answered on the first ring, "How are you feeling?" She asks, loud laughs behind her.
"Strange. I haven't told anyone else but you and Peter and uh I was wondering if you could help me book my doctor's appointments?"
"Oh of course, you should have your first one in a few days actually, would you like to come down to our house and we can do it here," Her voice is so gentle and soothing and I nod, holding back another burst of tears.
"Yes please, should I bring anything?" I ask, starting to back a bag.
"I think you could stay down here with us if you'd like?" She responds softly.
"Yes please, a week full of clothes?" I ask, stacking the suggestion into the bag.
"And remember your devices, tell whoever you want that you'll be leaving but don't say where exactly, me or Tony to pick you up?"
"You, please. In one hour?"
"Of course, are you sure you are okay?"
I cave in and burst into silent tears and small whimpers and she seems to distance herself from the other people she must be with and she starts to shh me.
"It's okay, I'm here for you and so is every single other person here, your baby is going to be brought into this world safe and healthy with you and Loki smiling and crying at the same time," She assures me, I can almost feel her smile beside me and the tears calm down and my heart slows.
"Thank you. Thank you so much," I smile and begin to pack, "See you in one hour."
We both hang up and I play soft music as I pack for a few weeks just in case. Hearing a knock on my door, I freeze up. Closing the suitcase, I slide towards the door and open it, looking up and finding Thor.
"Today is the day, nobody else is here so could you?" Thor begins, "For Jane," He adds on quickly.
"Oh, of course!" I reply, trying my best to hide the bag behind me.
He breathes a sigh of relief and I get the ring out of a drawer and we make our way to the rooftop and I block off strong winds and he sets up a table and I place candles and her favourite flowers scattered around.
"Darcy will lead her up" He confirms and I nod.
"Thor, can I tell you something?" I begin.
"Of course, anything." He grins.
"I'm pregnant." I say in a hushed voice.
"I.. Who's the father?"
"Loki." I begin to shake, worried he would lash out.
"Well that's amazing Y/N," He smiles, pulling me into a hug.
"Thank you Thor, I'll be somewhere else for a little bit but please don't tell anyone," I say, "I think Sam can record for you and I'll be on my way,"
I leave him and drag a bag outside, anxiously checking if Loki had any sight on me.
Outside, an Audi awaited me and I recognised the small sticker Morgan insisted of sticking and smiled.
"BYE Y/N!" Jane and Thor shouted, I could hear the smiles from here and I shouted back.
"DO NOT FORGET MY INVITE," With that, I stepping into the front seat after shoving the bags in the back.
"You told him?" She pipes up as we drive along.
"Yeah, I just hope he doesn't tell Loki right away."
"Why don't you want him knowing?"
"He'll feel guilty and we just had a fight and I'm just too stressed about this," I spill to her.
The trip continues in a comfortable silence and before I know it, I see the trees and the comforting place I recall some of the most welcoming memories.
"Y/N!" Squeals Morgan as she rushes over to hug me, jumping into my arms as she burrows her head in my shoulder.
