"We have another mission for you." I lift my head up, arms strapped down on the chair as he walks in the room.
"I'm done with your work Pierce." I glare at him, my body aching from the constant stress of the missions lately. Something was different, Alexander seemed a little more out of place today.
Hands in pockets he strolls over to me, a smug look on his face and his hair disheveled. "This one's gonna be fun. Get to meet with some old friends."
I tilt my head at that, curious as to what he meant, the mind wipes had me entirely disconcerted with old friends as I don't recall having any.
"I guess you won't know." He chuckles, a wry smile on his face as he nods at the scientists next to me, directing them to begin the process.
"Stay out of sight. Complete the mission and kill Steve Rogers." The name rang something in me, tapping at my brain as I sat there staring at Pierce's aged face.
Taking deep breaths, I ready myself for it as he pulls the syringe out of the case. The syringe contained the liquid that pulled me out of control, nothing in my mind but the mission I'm set on.
Pierce walks out as it's shot into my neck, the pain seeping into my blood until I find myself growing colder, my brain pulling a switch.
-
Suddenly I find myself tumbling down a hill to the edge of the water. My head thumped in pain, my position was compromised by flying debris, and something must've hit me in the head as I was pulled out of their control.
"Bell. What's your status. Pierce is down."
The buzzing continues in the earpiece and I tug it out of my ear, tossing it on the ground and getting up to head to the water.
I stumble over branches, struggling to reach the water as I see the Heli-carriers crashing into each other, the last one finally going down.
I finally make it to the water but quickly hide, seeing none other than Captain America lying on the ground, another man with a metal arm progressively walking away from his unconscious body.
I rush over to him as soon as the other man is out of sight, feeling for a pulse on his neck, relief washing over my body as it thumps under my two fingers.
"Okay...um I'll get you out of here." I look around for help, no one in sight as fires break out and the broken Heli-carriers lay waste to the SHIELD compound.
I begin to panic, I hadn't been out of their control for this long, and more so outside of the cell.
A sudden radio call came from his earpiece, a voice emitting, letting him know that people were on their way.
His face looked pale, the wounds on his body gushing blood as I kneeled next to him.
He needed the bullets out of him.
I take a deep breath and pull my hands out, allowing energy spirals to emit from them and into his wounds.
Pulling out each bullet, I attempt to concentrate, the sounds of sirens blaring all around me, eventually getting closer and closer.
I finally get them all out, his body quickly taking over to close the bullet wounds and stop the bleeding.
Sirens come closer and heavy footsteps come from all around.
