"No. No please." He begs, his heavy hot breath wafting on my skin as I pierce my fingernails into his cheeks, holding his face still in front of me as his legs were immobile.

The constant pleading was ineffective to stopping me, I felt myself there, but my cognition was out of my control.

Either way, even if I wasn't under the mind control, would I not kill this disgusting pig?

Only an hour ago was I 'kidnapped' and taken to this club.

To dance for this club that smuggled a sex trafficking chain, but nonetheless a former Hydra spy.

I suppose that was the only important part in regards of the mission as I killed the men in my way, the ones who stepped in the path to reach this man.

I felt my hand heat around his face, feeling a ferocious fire elicit from my chest as I peer into his hallow soul.

A sneer pulled at the corner of my lip as the energy spiral probes holes through his cheeks, an agonizing scream pulling out of his throat as I don't stop.

My other hand finds its way to his scruffy neck, grabbing a tight hold of it as I near my face to his ear, his scream still present in the dark backroom of the club.

The music and humored dancing bodies outside muffled the sound of his pain as I blankly spoke.

"Hail Hydra," I whisper, pulling my hands the opposite way, snapping the life from the traitor.

I stand up with an empty expression.

The job was done and it was time to restart.

The air felt heavy as we walked up the metal staircase.

The mission was similar to an old one, one that I seemed to hold onto compared to other ones that were easily wiped from my brain.

Infiltrate a man's sexual desires, tear away the answers and then dispose of him.

Well that was the code before, this time I was simply a pawn in someone else's mission.

As we walk up the stairs I hear Bucky speak behind me, Sam and Zemo ahead of us.

"You're gonna do this, aren't you?"

I turn my head slightly in his direction as we finally reach the top of the stairs, meeting a metal bridge extending forward and then around a bend to reach the middle of Low Town.

"Yes I am. I'm used to missions like this remember?"

Our footsteps echo under the steel skeleton of the walkway as we're met with crowded buildings covered in neon lights and smoke.

"That doesn't make any of it okay Elena."

I sigh as I feel myself agreeing with that.

Of course it wasn't right, but some things have to happen in order for us to get anywhere.

Seemed like a pattern amongst those who want to save or help the world though.

It was tiring.

"I'll be fine," I state factually. Because I will be fine. I will complete the objective.
