After finding a road about 100 feet from where we landed in the field, we walked for about 15 minutes.

"Sorry about Redwing," Bucky said on the other side of Sam.

"No you're not."

I look over at Sam, "wait what happened to Redwing?"

"Little shit broke it when you fell off." Sam turns to Bucky as we keep walking. "What's going on in that big cyborg brain of yours?"

Bucky doesn't spare him a look as he replies. "It's computing."

I look around the road then check my watch.

"You know what, I can actually see it." Sam bumps my arm with his elbow to get my attention. "Look." He nods his head at an unbothered Bucky, "I can see the gears turning. Oh-oh, they're malfunctioning, shutting down. Yup, they're on fire."

Bucky gives him an empty look and I sigh, annoyed at their antics.

He looks forward then replies.

"We gotta figure out where the serum's coming from."

"Yeah, and how in the hell after 80 years are there 8 Super Soldiers running lose." I turn around as I hear a truck driving up, groaning as I notice who's in it.

"Hey Elena." John smiles at me and I look forward, ignoring his greeting. "Look, that didn't go as planned huh?" They stop the car and we keep walking, "huh-okay alright just keep going. Elena come on, what's wrong?"

I glare at him before shaking my head pressing forward.

John doesn't get the message as he continues. "Look at least we know what we're up against now, huh?"

Sam and I share a look.

"We're pretty sure its one of the big three, so." John adds.

Lemar cuts in, "Aliens, Androids or Wizards."

"There's no such thing as Wizards," Bucky yells back, still pressing forward.

"Alright, then it's Aliens or Androids." Lemar looks over at me and gestures for us to get in.

"Or super-soldiers," I reply, ignoring his invitation.

"Shit super-soldiers, for real?"

Sam replies quickly, "yeah."

I look over at John as he raises his eyebrows with surprise, "wow. Well then we gotta work together."

"That's not happening," Bucky replies shortly.

"Look, Elena tell them." I shoot him a look, "fine. I think we stand a much better chance if we all just-"

Bucky interrupts him quickly. "Just cause you carry that shield it doesn't mean you're Captain America."

John's face becomes serious as he glares at Bucky, "look I've done the work."

"John just shut up already," I say walking forward.

"No, it's fine Elena. John, you ever jump on top of a grenade?" Bucky asks.

"Yeah, actually I have, four times. It's a thing I do with my helmet, Elena has seen me do it." I widen my eyes and blink in disbelief, "well it's a reinforced helmet, it's a long story. Look it's 20 miles to the airport, you guys need a ride."

The truck stops once again and Sam looks over at me.

I look over at John and Lemar, then decide there was no point in arguing. "Just come on." I climb onto the truck, leaving them to follow.
