CHAPTER FOURTEEN (Nightmare)

     Jennie's shock when she couldn't see anything even though she knew her eyes were open. She tried to speak but something was already covering her mouth. She tried to shout but only a growl came out of her mouth.

     "Chun Lee, your pet is awake, so noisy." Said a man's voice.

     She forced herself to loosen her grip. She knew she was in a running car and she thought there was a chance someone would see her if people outside noticed that something strange was happening inside.

     "Argh!" Jennie shuddered when she felt the blow to her stomach which made her breathing even harder. She felt the plastic covering her head.

     "Car windows are tinted, no one can see you," said the voice of a woman next to her.

     Even though she couldn't see her, she was sure it was the woman she had seen in the hospital earlier. Maybe the woman pretended to be the janitress there.

     Jennie forced herself to calm down so she could breathe properly again. She already saw what they could do. She did not know why they had even her survive if they wanted to kill her. That was even better than what those shots did to her that perhaps only have sleeping pills in its ammunition. She is even unaware of whatever fate awaited her once they got out of the car.

     A few more hours passed. Jennie seemed to be going crazy thinking and waiting. She felt that from the flat road the road had become uneven. The sound of branches and leaves scraping at the vehicle also proves that they are no longer in the city.

     Jennie felt a mixture of fear and nervousness when they finally stopped. She heard the door open to her right. A strong force grabbed her arm and pulled her down from the vehicle. She struggled especially that she couldn't see where she was stepping and going because of the plastic covering her head. The pungent odor of the place wafted through her nose.

     "Here's my present for you, my old friend," said a voice. Based on its accent, she was sure that it's a foreign.

     She heard grunts. She was nervous at the familiar sound of it.

     "J-Jennie? Don't you fucking tell me that's Jennie because I'll kill you, Jong-In. I swear I'll fucking kill you ..."

     Jennie could feel the weakness in Lisa's voice despite its emphatic pronunciation of the words. She wanted to comfort her but she could not speak because of what was stuck in her mouth. A strong force pulled at her again and sat her down in a hard and cold chair, tied her feet to the legs of the chair while tied her hands separately to its armrest. She tried to struggle but even her body was bound by them.

     "Jennie? What are you doing to her, bastards? Let her go! Jennie!" said Lisa's voice.

     A horrible laugh was heard. "Oh, how sweet of you, trying to protect your little sweetheart over here. I'd like to see her up close. May I?" After saying that, someone removed the covering from her head.

     Jennie was dazzled by the light so she blinked her eyes. When she got a little used to the light, she then focused on the familiar figure in front of her.

     The corners of Jennie's eyes immediately warmed when she saw Lisa's look as she was tied to the chain and hung from the ceiling. Only wearing jeans and sports bra. The pain she had suffered was evident in her body. Her bruises were large and some parts of her body were bloody. Her right eye is also almost closed that acquired a black eye. Despite all that she could see the seeming concern in her eyes. Jennie kept crying.

     "Oh, the little girl is so sad to see you, my old friend. What do you think I should do to make her happy?" One hand violently touched and lifted her face. She faces a thin man. Only the middle part of its head has hair. He is blonde and has green eyes. Jennie was horrified to notice that one of his eyes was just staring at her. Based on Lisa's call earlier, she is sure that Jong-In Kim is the man in front of her now. Its mere appearance is already causing her a range of fear.
