It has been over a month since Jennie returned to her family home in Incheon. Her Aunt Eun-hye didn't sent her back to the condo where they live. That's also what the doctor advised her so that she can easily forget the "traumatic experience" she suffered at the hands of Jong-In Kim. The doctor also reminded her that the chances of her dreaming about it were normal.

But in the days that have passed, the fact that Jong-In and his men that hurt her has not always been on her mind, whether she is asleep or awake. Yes, there are times when she dreams of moments when she and Lisa's life is in danger but every time Lisa's face registers in her dream, she feels safe. She felt she shouldn't be afraid because she knew Lisa was always there to protect her.

Jennie doesn't know if it's right for her to be the first to give up and contact her even though she's the one who wants them to part ways first. Even though she was busy at work again --- now that she is the cashier at the Bae grocery store in Incheon --- not a day goes by that she doesn't think about Lisa.

"Unnie! Unnie!" her brother DK repeatedly calls her that brought her back to consciousness.

She lifted her gaze from the sliced cabbage she was going to add to the corned beef they will have for dinner.

"Why are you so loud, huh?" she asked in astonishment.

"Peek out the window, quick!" DK said, simultaneously pulling on her arm.

"What the ---" She couldn't finish what she was about to say when she heard the sound of the guitar playing.

"You don't know, babe
When you hold me
And kiss me slowly
It's the sweetest thing
And it don't change
If I had it my way
You would know that you are
"

Jennie's eyes widened when she heard a familiar voice singing. "Lisa!" she exclaimed, simultaneously running in the direction of their window. There she saw Lisa with a guitar slung over her shoulder and surrounded by curious and inquisitive neighbors. They stared at Lisa as if she is an alien from a spaceship. When they seemed to see her looking out the window they shouted and applauded.

"You're the coffee that I need in the morning
You're my sunshine in the rain when it's pouring
Won't you give yourself to me
Give it all, oh

I just wanna see
I just wanna see how beautiful you are
You know that I see it
I know you're a star
Where you go I follow
No matter how far
If life is a movie
Oh you're the best part, oh oh oh
You're the best part, oh oh oh
Best part
"

Jennie's heart pounded as her eyes met Lisa's that smiled at her as she continued to play the guitar and sing the song.

"It's the sunrise
And those brown eyes, yes
You're the one that I desire
When we wake up
And then we make love
It makes me feel so nice

You're my water when I'm stuck in the desert
You're the Tylenol I take when my head hurts
You're the sunshine on my life

I just wanna see how beautiful you are
You know that I see it
I know you're a star
Where you go I follow
No matter how far
If life is a movie
Then you're the best part, oh oh oh
You're the best part, oh oh oh
Best part"

She shook her head before smiling at her.

"If you love me won't you say something
If you love me won't you
Won't you
If you love me won't you say something
If you love me won't you
Love me, won't you
If you love me won't you say something
If you love me won't you
If you love me won't you say something
If you love me won't you
Love me, won't you
If you love me won't you say something
If you love me won't you
If you love me won't you say something
If you love me won't you
Love me, won't you
"

When Lisa's song ended, their neighbors applauded and shouted again, some of whom were her relatives.

"Okay, the movie is over," she joked to them before telling Lisa to go inside their house.

Simultaneous shout is heard like "Answer her already!" or "It's a wedding!" by her neighbors before they returned to their respective homes.

Her cheeks warmed as Lisa was ushered into their house. She restrained herself from hugging and kissing Lisa.

"I-I didn't know you could play the guitar," Jennie said as Lisa sat down on the sofa.

"I don't. I just learned how to so I could play and do it for you," she replied smiling.

Jennie's lips parted. She did not know what to answer to it. When she saw her brother DK wandering around them she ordered him to buy drinks at the store for Lisa. Her brother was shaking his head while leaving them.

Jennie's cheeks warmed again as she turned to look at Lisa. "Don't look at me like that," she scolded her.

"Can't help it. I missed you."

She bit her lower lip. She lowered her gaze for a moment, before raising it again to meet Lisa's gaze. "I ... I miss you, too," she admitted shyly, then walked over and sat on the chair a few feet away from Lisa. "You're tanned," she said as she looked at her arms.

Lisa looked at her arms. "Oh, yeah. I've been to Boracay and Cagayan de Oro these past few weeks. Just mending a broken heart since someone declined my marriage proposal," she said with a smile.

She couldn't imagine Lisa being on the beach and alone treating her sadness. She shook her head. "I'm sure you met a lot of girls," she said, then avoided looking at her.

"Yes, I did," she admitted, then looked back at Jennie. "Problem is I couldn't even flirt with them. You were always on my mind."

"Even though they're prettier and sexier than me?" Jennie asked.

Lisa frowned. "What are you talking about? You're the most beautiful and sexiest woman on this planet."

     She stared at her. "Jest."

"No, I'm not," Lisa said seriously.

Jennie laughed at her accent. She did not expect that Lisa will reach her hand and enclose it in her own hands. She stopped laughing when she saw the serious expression on Lisa's face.

     "Lisa ..."

"Jennie, I love you, and I'm going to prove that to you. I'm sorry if my sudden marriage proposal at the hospital took you by surprise. I should have taken things slow. I forgot about the customs and traditions that your country have. So please let me do it right this time by courting you and your family too. "

Her eyes widened. "Are you really serious? There's no need ---"

"No, please, let me do this, Jennie. I want to do this. Please?"

Jennie wanted to say that she didn't have to do that anymore because she loved her too. But how could she say that to Lisa when her hazel brown eyes were begging? If that's what she wants, she'll just give it to her. She had no intention of making it difficult so when she offered her marriage again, she really will say "YES" to her right away. So she nodded in agreement with Lisa's wishes.

Jennie was surprised when she hugged her. "Thank you, Jennie."

She looked at her. "Ahm, Lisa, suitors can't hug right away."

Lisa suddenly let go of her. "Oh, sorry, I didn't know that. Just got excited, that's all."

They were silent for a while then just laughed at what happened.
