CHAPTER THREE (The Package & Letter)

     "Lisa, you're back!" Jennie said happily when she entered her room and saw Lalisa Manoban seating at the edge of her bed. The latter smiled and make her way towards Jennie. "Forgive me, Jennie, I couldn't stay away from you." Lisa then pulled Jennie towards her and hugged her tightly.

     Jennie then tilted her head and lay it on Lisa's chest, smelling her natural scent. Lisa gently caress Jennie's hair that made Jennie look up to her and felt the weird sensation she felt everytime she looks into Lisa's brown eyes. Lisa then slowly lowered her head towards Jennie still staring at her while Jennie closed her eyes and slightly opened her lips while anticipating...

     The loud sound of the doorbell woke Jennie up and hurriedly stood up on the small chair she is seating that make her head hit to the hanged basin above her. She was still in pain while going towards the door removing the soap bubble on her hand, she then realized that she fall asleep while doing the laundry.

     The doorbell ringed again so Jennie quickly reached the door as fast as she can. She check first the peephole to see whose outside but got disappointed when she saw the delivery boy with a package, she then cursed herself for hoping that Lisa will show up at the condo unit. It's been a week since the latter came hiding on her closet but until now she is still thinking about her and even sees her in her own dreams at night.

     Jennie then made a deep sigh before she opened the door. She was shocked when the delivery boy told her that the package is for her. She was ask for an ID and she then showed it one then the delivery boy let her sign a form to confirm that she have received the package personally.

     Her eyes widened when she saw who the sender was. "Rosè Park?!" she shouted that even made the delivery boy confused, she then apologizes to him. "Ahm, sorry I was just surprised." The delivery boy then walked away from her. Jennie then closed the door and quickly opened the package that comes with a brown envelope in it. She opened he package and saw a copy of Rosè Park's novel 'The Knight of My Life' then noticed the words written at the side of it. Complimentary Copy: Not For Sale. She was speechless when she opened the books second page.

Dearest Jennie,

      Hello there! I heard from a reliable source that you recently has the chance to meet the real Lalisa Manoban. She's a hero material, right?" Just that when I ask her to use her name as the lead character of my novel she refused and because I'm obedient I didn't made her the lead character instead I made her the villain! J

     By the way, please accept this as a thank you gift from Lisa for the favor you did for her. I'd also like to thank you, too, for liking Suelgi and Seok-Jin Kim's story. Lisa told me that you defended her character-self in this story. It seems you're destined to meet.

      She read the letter three times and hugged the book with a smile. She felt special and excited to know that Lisa have not forgotten about her.

     She then thought that this is just a payment for her clothes that vanished that day. The white t-shirt that is big for her that has a print 'Life is a Gamble' and her pajama that is full of Pikachu's on it from the cartoon series Pokémon.

     WhatJennie had in mind is that Lisa wore those clothes before she left the roomthrough the window since those are the only clothes that would fit her. Shethen sigh and look at the cover of the book she's holding. What if she and Lisa are the main character of Rosés' novel, what would be the title of it.
