As if in response to what Jennie was thinking, suddenly someone grabbed her elbow and guided her to walk. She tried to pull back her elbow. But when she saw that it was Lisa--who now seemed to have magic her hair into a man cut hair, she let it go.

"Lisa, I'm confused. What's going on?"

       "Keep walking," Lisa commanded her.

She followed the latter. Jennie saw Lisa glancing at the mirrors above each opening of the aisle. She knew it was for the supermarket guards to see if someone was secretly stealing the products, but from what she saw now it looked like Lisa was using it to see if anyone was following them.

"Is my life in danger?" she asked her.

      "Yes."

      Jennie stopped walking.

      "Keep walking," Lisa told her.

      "No."

      Lisa's forehead furrowed.

Challenging, Jennie looked at Lisa. "I will not walk until you tell me what is happening. Tell me, why is this happening to me?"

Lisa washed her hands over her face. Jennie could see the annoyance on her face. "Long story. And we don't have the luxury of time--"

      "Make it short, then."

Lisa sighed. "Fine. I'm a former police officer from Seoul. I made a lot of enemies. One of them escaped from prison and now he wants to kill me." She looked at Jennie intently. "Now, walk," she commanded before touching her again on the elbow.

Jennie still did not budge from where she's standing. Lisa wondered and looked at her. She dared to disobey her. Jennie knew that although Lisa could force her, she would not do it.

      "What now?" Lisa ask her.

"I don't understand," she said. "Why are they targeting me too? Is it because you hid in my closet--"

"Because those guys think you're my girlfriend."

Jennie was stunned. "You're my girlfriend? When?"

"You talk too much." Lisa was about to lift her when she waved her hands as a sign that she did not like what she was going to do.

Jennie started walking again. Lisa followed her then held her left hand. Jennie looked at their clasped hands before looking back at Lisa's face. It seems that their holding hands just don't matter with Lisa so she just tries to ignore it. But because the latter was tall and one step was equal to two of hers, what she was doing is like jogging.

They were close to the exit when she stopped walking again. "Wait! My bag is still on the package counter," she said then forced herself to be release from Lisa's hand holding hers.

It did not let her escape. "Leave that. We're not sure if that's also bug-laden."

Before she could ask again, Lisa grabbed her by the arm and continued walking as she briskly walked to keep pace with Lisa.

Jennie noticed Lisa's alert eyes as if at any moment someone would block, hurt or shoot them.

It was a while before she realized that the direction they were taking was heading to the train station. When they reached the stairs, Lisa handed her the train card.

"Which station are we going to?" Jennie asked her as they waited for the train to arrive. She noticed that the people there were looking at them, especially her fellow women, whether they had a boyfriend or not. They first looked at Lisa with admiration, then looked at her with envy or insult on their eyes.
