CHAPTER FOUR (Meet Again)

     Jennie checked again the list of the thing she need to buy at the grocery here at the mall. "Where I the shelf for the Quaker Oatmeal?" She took a glance of her push cart with a heavy sigh. She is thinking on how she will bring all the groceries that Irene wanted her to buy and didn't even let Mr. Park go with her since she needs a driver than Irene right now, who will just go to the parlor today.

     Jennie then turn to the opposite side of the shelves for milk and coffee to see if what she is looking for is their but suddenly someone grab her elbow. "Excuse me, but I believe this is yours," said the person who grab her. Jennie then turn her head towards the voice but needs to look up since she is only until the chest part of the person. The person who grabbed her is wearing a cap with a mask covering its mouth. Jennie stared on the brown eyes and was shocked when she realize who was it.

     "Lisa!" She said excitedly while her heart is beating fast that can't stop her from smiling but it faded when she remembered about the condition she was the last time she saw her. "Are you okay?" Jennie ask then quickly glance on Lisa's side.

     Lisa nodded. "Yes, I am. Thanks to you but I need you to keep walking though, so as not to attract attention," before she placed a paper bag inside her grocery cart.

     "Ah, okay," so they continued to walk while Lisa is getting grocery items that she is putting on her grocery basket she's holding. "By the way, just wanted to say thank you for the novel with Rosés autograph." Jennie said to Lisa.

     Lisa just nodded again then walk to the other shelf that is a meter away from where Jennie is and tried to check on the product on the shelf then after few seconds of checking on it returned it back at that shelf.

     "What is this?' Jennie ask referring to the paper bag that she's now holding that Lisa placed on her grocery cart earlier. She then opened it and saw a white t-shirt with a pink pajama with Pikachu's on it but even if it looks the same to her clothes that vanished that day, she knows that those are not hers since it's all new.

     When she look up to say thank you to Lisa and to ask why not just return her old clothes she is no longer able to see the latter. Her forehead crease while looking for Lisa in between shelfs but still unable to find her. She knows that she was not day dreaming, the proof is the paper bag on her grocery cart but didn't even say goodbye before she left, maybe that is how she is. Here in a while then gone like a wind later.

     She then just let it pass, at least she now have a new sleeping garment that is from Lisa. She also then continued looking for the Quaker Oats that Irene wanted until she was able to find it and got the biggest pack of it added on her grocery cart. The line at the cashier is so long it's because the employees just got their salaries. Yes, you are correct today is the 15th of the month. While she was waiting for her turn at the counter Jennie tried to look around hopeful to see Lisa again among the people lining towards the counter or the people passing by but she had already paid for her grocery items she is still not able to find Lisa on the crowd.

     Jennie have dropped her jaw when she saw the remaining change she have from the money Irene gave her. She thought she will still have enough money to ride a taxi. She then hesitantly get the plastic bags of groceries from the bagger. She was even ask if she wanted to be accompanied going to the parking lot but Jennie declined the offer.

     It will take her 20 minutes of walk from the mall to the Emerald Residences, however she don't have any choices but to walk going home. She then walk towards the back of the mall carrying three plastic bags full of groceries on her right hand and two on her left hand. She is about to cross the street when a taxi stopped in front of her. She shook her head and told the driver that she won't but the driver opened the car door saying "Ma'am, get in. Someone had already made the contract with me and it has been paid with a tip." After the driver said those, he immediately get the plastic bags full of groceries that she was holding.

     Because of confusion Jennie just let the driver put the plastic bags inside the taxi. "Someone already paid you? Who?" she ask. "She didn't introduce but she's not native here, I think she's a foreigner. Is she not your friend?" Jennie's forehead creases then thought that it might be Lisa the driver is referring to. "Is she wearing a cap with a mask covering her face? And is wearing black t-shirt? Tall?"

     The taxi driver nodded then opened the car door in the passenger seat. "When she handed me the payment, she immediately go riding her car that is why I thought you are her friend or are you having a misunderstanding?" ask the driver. Jennie was confused so she didn't even answer the drivers question so the driver went got back to the driver's seat and start the engine.

     Jennie was relaxing her back while her mind is wandering, she can't figure it out if either she will be happy or angry to Lisa. She is trying to see what is the problem, why seems that the latter is distancing herself to her but still trying to help her in anyways. Until now Jennie is not sure if Lisa is good or bad person. There is a part of her that is undetermined because of the emotions she is feeling---Fear, Apprehension or Admiration? But everytime she thinks of Lisa those three mixes in. She then thanked the driver once she reach her destination at the lobby of Emerald Residences. She was even help out by the maintenance personnel of the building to bring up all the groceries she bought at the 7th floor the unit of the Kim's.
