The girl in the corner was holding a freshly lit blunt in her hand. She was wearing a tight, cropped grey t-shirt paired with baggy jeans and converse shoes. She had lots of jewelry on, including a nose ring around her septum. Her brown hair was short with curtain bangs. She was exactly Sophie's type.
However, Sophie was not looking for a girl to mess around with. She was simply looking for a platonic friendship with someone who was clearly cool.
So, Sophie walked up to her.
"You need help with that?" Sophie joked, pointing at the blunt.
"Depends, will you pay me back?" the girl replied. She didn't mean it in a rude way, she simply wanted some sort of compensation for expensive bud.
"Of course."
"Alright, then," the girl said as she handed Sophie the blunt. "I'm Jenna."
"I'm Sophie."
The two girls smoked for a little while, having lighthearted conversation the whole time. At the end of the party, the girls exchanged numbers. A new friendship was being built.
