"May the God's blessing stay with you till the end," the Priest says, smiling down at Adam and Noah.
They're officially married.
They both take a step to each other and engulf in a kiss that didn't last long. Adam leans into Noah's ears and whispers sweet nothings to which Noah looks down shyly. Everybody claps then, cheering fills the beachside of Los Angeles. It was Adam's dream to have a destination wedding and Levi and I couldn't get a better place other than L.A.
Levi.
I look around for my boyfriend but he's nowhere near my eyesight. I told him not to leave me halfway but here we are.
I pick up my phone from my clutch and move aside from the crowd of both Adam's and Noah's family. I walk down the aisle and take left to where there's no one. Before I could even turn my phone on, it started ringing. Reading Levi's name, I picked it up.
"Where are you?" I ask before he could say hello.
"I have a surprise for you," He says and I can already hear his smile.
A smile crept up my lips. "You do?"
"Go to the parking lot. Find our car. Open the trunk, there's a box. Okay bye," He hangs up as soon as he said bye. Excitement fills inside me and I almost trip as I run in this long dress that I've worn for the wedding. Adam will kill me if he gets to know I ditched his wedding and went somewhere else. But I will somehow make it upto him. When I find the parking lot, I go to the VIP section and find our car at the end.
I stop midway to remove my heels. Picking the 6 inch heels, I run to our car. I don't know what I expect to see, I have no guess in Levi's surprises. It's always things I least expect but the best kind. The car is already unlocked as I open it. There is a box laying on the corner of the trunk, covered in black glitter wrapper.
I picked it up and unwrapped, throwing the paper aside. I open the box to see a velvet red overcoat neatly folded in. Confused, I pulled the coat out only to find a pair of black lacy thong and matching bra.
What.
There was a note too.
Bee,
Wear this and come to the nearest McD. Oh, and don't forget to tie the lace of the coat. I don't want no man seeing my girl's goodies.
-Love, Levi.
I still have no idea what this is about but McDonalds sounds good and I was hungry. I went to the restrooms and changed into it, tightly tying the lace around me like he wanted me to. The coat reached till my knees, a great deal of my cleavage showing off. When I looked in the mirror, I was so pleased with Levi's choice. Since my hairstyle didn't match the outfit, I removed the bun and left it open.
I'm so excited.
In a blink I was at the nearest McDonalds. The place was empty but there were workers. I looked around for my boyfriend but he was still not here.
I was questioning myself if I came to the wrong place when suddenly two arms slithered down my waist from behind. I gasped at the sudden action. I knew it was Levi from the tattoos on his arms. He kissed the side on my face and finally moved to my front.
"Hey," He said, smiling.
My man.
"Hi," I smiled back.
He eyes my outfit for sometime and says, "You look so good,"
"Thanks," God, I'm blushing like my first kiss is about to begin. "Are we having another McD date for the week?" He nods as he takes my hand in his and leads the way to one of the booths. He lets me sit and then sits himself down beside me, the heat of his body warming my own. It's a closed booth so no one can really see from the outside.
I think he has plans.
"What's up?" I ask when I feel tempted to do things I shouldn't do to him in public. He's just staring at me, waiting.
"I was thinking about how much you'll get sad once I rip these things off you," He says, playing with the lace of the coat.
My face heats up and I trace his tattoos. "But you'll touch me,"
"That I will, definitely," He inches closer to me.
I can't breathe. I'm so turned on by whatever this is happening here. I shift closer to him and bury my face in his neck, taking in his spicy scent. Then I whisper, "Where will you touch me, Levi?"
"Everywhere," He breathes out.
"Show me where," My heart is thudding inside my chest and I don't know what's happening here.
His hand almost touched my thighs when I hear someone clear their throat. I pinch my eyes, pulling myself away from him. I look up to see one of the workers standing there, cooly like he did not just witness us doing stuff. He places the tray on the table and leaves us.
"God, that was close," I breath out as I stare at Levi. But Levi's having that cocky smiles he always has. He stares at our food and I look at what he's looking.
No way.
"Oh my God," I breath out, my hand cupping my mouth.
What.
On the left to the triple cheeseburger, 'Will you marry me?' is written with ketchup.
When I turn back to look at him, Levi is no more sitting on the booth, he's out, kneeling on one knee, holding out a ring. He has the biggest smile on his face and I'm already in my tears. "Oh my God," I say again as I watch him. My heart swells and I feel overwhelmed. I remember telling him about getting engaged in McDonalds wearing this exact outfit. I can't believed he remembered that still. I slide out of the booth and kneel in front of him. Cupping his cheeks, I kiss all over his face.
My tears of happiness won't stop. All the special moments happened with him won't stop playing in my head.
And I don't want it to.
Because this is it. Him. Me. Us. Together forever.
"Yes," I breath, holding my hand out. He slides the ring onto my ring finger. It's a simple diamond ring in circle shape, small diamonds circling it. I bring it to my lips and kiss it, looking at him in the eye. I wrap my arms around him, enable to stop feeling ecstatic. "I love you, I love you, I love you,"
"I love you more, my Bee," And it was the truth.
He loved me more than anyone could ever do.
