As soon as we stepped into the room, I was ecstatic. Here I was, in the Gryffindor common room, my new home. James let go of my hand and I walked around to look at everything.

There was a huge fireplace, a couch and a chair sitting in front of the fireplace, two chairs that sit around a table, and bunch of small random objects all around the room.

"Sorry for the mess," James said from behind me. He started picking up books and scarfs and a bunch of other stuff. "Don't bother, my mom always makes sure our house is clean. You get tired of it after awhile," I said. Honestly, it was true. It was nice to finally not have my mother around to be in charge of everything.

James grabbed my hand again and began leading me to some more stairs. I groaned at the thought of climbing up more stairs. He laughed and then put his arm around my waist. I put my arm around his shoulder to make sure that I didn't fall.

Then a thought slammed into my brain. This is the closest I've ever been to a boy. He's not unattractive either.

I started to blush, thinking about such silly things. I turned my head so James wouldn't see. We were just about to the top when the stairs seemed to disappear. We slipped down to where we came from. When we stopped, I was laying on top of James and our faces were inches apart.

He smiled at me. "Wonder what happened?" He asked me in a low voice.

"I don't know," I replied.

His face was so close to mine I could already see the kiss. He was pulling me closer and I was letting him.

Suddenly, a door flew open and a bunch of kids came flooding into the room. I stood up as fast as I could and suddenly regretted it. My head started to spin. James must have noticed something was wrong because he guided me to the couch. I sat down fast and my head relieved my of its pounding.

I sighed with relief and James walked over to his friends (in guessing). "Hey, what were you and James doing?" Someone asked from behind me. I turned to see Albus smiling behind me.

"Nothing, I just, um... fell and he helped me up..." I trailed off.

"Uh-huh... Sure!" Then Albus turned away. I sighed at my terrible naturalness.

I hope I don't get too connected to Hogwarts because my mom is just gonna take me away.
