Chapter 21
It's Friday and I'm currently opening the emails I got from those publishing companies.
In the end, I chose to traditionally publish. Masyadong matrabaho ang pag self publish. I asked my co-authors about picking a publisher. They both have the same publisher so I decided to choose that since it also has the best offer. There's a lot of things to do.
It's my childhood dream! The nine years old me who dreamt of having my books published into physical copies is so proud. Her dream came alive. It gave her hope. And now, I could say that I didn't disappoint her. Because I'm slowly getting there.
Just like what my dad used to say, 'one step at a time, Charlotte'.
I could do those things without telling them but I know to myself that it would be better if they know.
My thoughts were interrupted once again when I heard the doorbell ring. I immediately got up from my swivel chair and headed to the living room to open the door.
When I opened the door I saw mi amor. Seeing him put a smile on my face.
I squeaked as I hung my arms to his nape, hugging him. "Gagi, na miss kita," I laughed when I removed my arms around him.
Sabi niya it's 'scholar things' raw kaya sobrang naiistress siya.
"How's mi love? Super stress?" I asked him while we were walking towards my room dahil nando'n ako.
Tumango siya at ngumuso na parang bata kaya natawa ako. "There, oh." I pointed to my bed, "Tulog ka na," sabi ko.
"I'm busy," seryosong sabi ko.
Mas lalo siyang sumimangot at saka nagsalita, "No time for me?" he sounded so casual but his eyes were like begging.
"Meron, syempre," I hugged him once again, not letting go this time. "What do you want to do, love?" I questioned, looking at him directly into his eyes.
