Kol's POV
It's been two months, and I've been teaching Davina to control her magic, at least three times a week. She's doing great, so far. We also talk, sometimes about what her life was like or about my times when I was human. I never open up to people, but when I'm with her it feels like I can tell her anything. So far, my siblings have no idea where I am going ever week. I've never told them that I was helping her control her magic, just that she trusts me, when I spoke to her.Anyway, I woke up, and put on my jeans, my grey shirt, and my black boots. I sped downstairs to the kitchen, and grabbed a blood bag out of the fridge and drank it.
Caroline came into the kitchen, and said, " Looking good. Got a date?"
I said, " Haha. I don't do dates."
She said, " Oh, right. You liked to take them home, bed them, and then kick them out, or eat them."
I said, " You think Nik wasn't like that before?"
She said, " I know what he was like, he told me. He isn't like that now, that's all that matters."
I said, " You do realize he's killed millions for fun."
She said, " I know. You can't change the past."
I laughed, and sped upstairs to my room. I grabbed my brown jacket, and put it on. I sped to my office, and looked for Mother's grimiore, which is sitting at the coffee table. I opened it, and ripped a page out. It's a desiccating spell. All she needs is my blood, and she can desiccate Mikael, since I'm blood related to him.
I put the page in my jacket, and sped downstairs and out the front door. I got in my car, and drove into the city.
I parked by the bar, so no one knows where I am going. I went inside the bar, and got a order of gumbo to go.
After I got the gumbo, I seen a flower keeper on the street. I stopped there, and compelled the person to give me a single Rose. I then sped to the church.
I went inside, and kept in the shadows, so Mikael's vampires don't see me. I quickly went upstairs, and knocked on the attic door. Davina soon opened the door, and smiled.
I held the paper bag up, and the rose. I said, " I come bearing gifts."
She said, " Come in."
She stepped aside, and let me in. She closed the door, and cast a silencing spell, so none of the vampires hear us. Don't want Mikael to know we are here in New Orleans, yet.
She said, " What spell am I learning today?"
I said, " We will get to that. Right now, I want you to have a taste of Gumbo."
She said, " I've never had it before."
I said, " I figured. Here, sit, and eat."
She said, " Whats the rose for?"
I looked at the rose in my hand, and held it out for her. I smirked, and said, " For you, darling."
She blushed, and took the rose. She twirled it in her fingers, and smiled. She put it on the bed. I grabbed a blanket, and set it out on the floor. She sat down, and I grabbed the gumbo, and the silverware out of the bag, and handed it to her. She opened the container, and said, " It looks so good."
I said, " Have a taste."
She tasted it, and said, " Omg. You weren't kidding. It's delicious."
I said, " Hopefully, you won't be here long."
She ate, and we talked some more. Then the attic door opened, and there stood Caroline, Katerina, and Rebekah. Caroline said, " See I told you it's because of a girl."
