The next day, you dedicate it to spending time with Chaeyoung. 

Walking to a sweets shop you wanted to try out, you tell her about your "date" with Jimin, as he liked to call it.

"Oh and then there was Jungkook." you sigh.

"The security guy?" Chaeyoung asks.

"Mhm. When Jimin came to pick me up, Jungkook asked if we were dating."

Her eyes widen, and she covers her mouth with her hand. You could see a smile forming under that hand.

"What?" you ask.

"So I'm not the only one." she mumbles.

"Only one what?" When you got no reply from her, you plead cutely, "Tell me, unnie."

"Do you like Jimin?" she finally says.

At the sound of his name, you mind immediately wanders to thoughts of him.

When he held my hand yesterday...

The way that he pouts in the cutest way possible.

"Yah, stop teasing me like that. You know that's not true," you say, as a blush creeps up, turning your cheeks into a rosy pink.

You cross your arms over your chest, turning away. 

You pretend to look at something across the street, while really, you were thinking about what she asked.

"What about you and Jin, hmm?" you return.

"No, it can't happen." she says. "He's a good man though. I'd want someone like him. Whoever marries him is one lucky girl."

It can't happen?

Why not?

Does she know him that well?

Is he her ex or something?

Or maybe he was her unrequited love?

Why have I never heard her mention him at all?

"Jimin seems to like you." Chaeyoung says, after a while, changing the topic. "Well, based on what you tell me about him, it sounds like he likes you."

"W-what? Hah, no way. Why would Jimin l-like me, of all people?"

"Why wouldn't he?" she asks, smiling. "The thing left is whether you accept or refuse when he asks you out."

"Wait, unnie! Why are you saying it like he's in love with me?" you say. She only smiles at you before running away, giggling.

"Is he not?" she calls back, a big smile still on her face.

"Come back here!" you shout, before chasing after her.

Yet suddenly, Chaeyoung stops running.
