Chapter Two

Walking out from your penthouse apartment, you see Jungkook standing there, as always. He was hired as the head of your security team after a few "fans" found out where you lived.

"Good morning, Y/N," Jungkook greets. 

"Hi Jungkook."

"I heard you were signing with HYBE." he says, grinning at you. How does everyone already know? you question.

"How did you know?"

"Jimin-ssi told me. I used to work in the security team at his apartment, before I came here. HYBE is a good company, and Bang Si Hyuk PD is a nice boss. Maybe one day the three of us can have drinks together." he suggests.

"Yeah. Well, I gotta go I'm meeting them first thing this morning. I'll see you later." you wave back at him.

"Ok, drive safely."

Upon arriving at the building of HYBE Cooperation, you couldn't help but admire how big it looks from the outside. There was someone standing at the door, as Bang PD said in the email.

"Hi Y/N. I'm Kim Namjoon, I'm here to bring you inside so you wouldn't get lost." the man says, smiling, showing off the dimples on either side of his cheek.

"Oh alright. It's nice meeting you."

"Come on, it's this way." Namjoon says, leading the way. After a long series of turns, he tells me to take a seat outside of Bang PD's office. "Just saying, I really do hope you'll be signing with us. It'll be cool to work with someone famous like you." Before you got to say anything, Bang PD called you in.

"Good morning, PD-nim." you say as you bow your head.

"Good morning, Y/N, it's nice to see you in person. Please, have a seat." he greets me, gesturing to one of the two sofas placed on the sides of a rectangular coffee table, before taking a seat with another. "Would you like some coffee?" You nod, and he pours you a cup from the press coffee maker.

He takes a sip from his cup before starting.

"So, as you know, I want to try something, if you're willing. If not, I'm always open to signing a normal soloist contract with you. But from what it seems, that's not what you're looking for, am I right?" he asks.

"Yeah. I want to try something new with my next company that won't stray too far from what I'm doing right now."

"That's what I thought. Back to what I was saying, with your contract, I want to try something different." Bang PD says.

"Oh? Something different?" you say.

"I want you to do more modelling and advertisements, with Park Jimin. Of course, you will still be releasing songs and albums, maybe less often, but doing photoshoots and advertisements more." he pauses before continuing. "I would like you two to model together, using a couple concept. Speaking of Jimin, where's that little brat? I told him to be on time and he's... 5 minutes late. I'll tell you the rest of it when he decides to show up." he shakes his head with a disapproving look on his face.

"Are you close with Jimin?" you inquire.

"Oh, yes. I've known Jimin since he was in middle school. I'm pretty close with his family, actually."

Just then, someone rushes in. "I'm sorry PD-nim, I know I'm late again." Jimin.

"Aish when are you going to start being on time, hmm?" Watching their interaction, you couldn't help but giggle. You struggle to hold your laugh back.

"I'm sorry." Jimin apologizes once again before greeting you. "Hi Y/N. Wow you look even prettier up in real life."

"Thanks." and he also looks more handsome up close. Bang PD clears his throat.

"Now, back to business. As I said earlier, I want you two to model together, promoting through a romantic concept. The reason I suggest this is because very often, businesses create products for couples, like matching jewelry, matching outfits, furniture for newlyweds, but to promote that, they will have to find a male and female model that is willing to work together. By giving these companies the option of using the two of you, that would work in their favour as it saves them time. Now the question here is, would you two be ok with working with each other like that?" Bang PD asks.

"I would love to do that with Y/N." Jimin says, with a hint of excitement in his voice.

"I am interested in doing this, and I'm definitely comfortable with doing this with Jimin. But I have a question: why me? You could easily hire another female model with more experience, why do you choose me?" you inquire.

"There are many reasons why I chose you, one of them being that you and Jimin look good together as a couple. Jimin is a bit on the short side, and your height fits him. Plus, I never cared too much about experience. I like your work attitude and your willingness to try new things."

"Oh. That makes sense. Well, where do I sign?"

"Just sign right here." Bang PD points to a line at the bottom and hands me a pen. After, he goes to the photocopier and hands a copy of the contract to you. "I'm glad you're going to work with us. I'll email you anything else you need to know and release the official announcement later this afternoon, alright?"

"Sounds good." you say, as he and Jimin leads you to the door of his office.

"Thank you for coming!" Bang PD says. "I'll call Namjoon to bring you outside."

After taking a shower at night, you hear someone ring your doorbell. You weren't expecting anyone here tonight. You look through the peephole. Taemin? What is he doing here? You open the door for him.

"Taemin, what are doing here so late?" He invites himself inside your house and locks the door behind you.

"What is the meaning of this?" he says angrily, raising his voice at you. You look at his phone, he was showing you the official announcement from HYBE. "'Y/N will be collaborating with Park Jimin in several modelling projects.' Why am I hearing this from the Internet?"

"Taemin, it's not what you think-" you say in an attempt to calm him down. Oh shit I definitely screwed this up.

"Y/N. It's exactly what I think this is. Bang Si Hyuk wants you to do couple photoshoots with Park Jimin. And you agreed. Should you maybe ask your boyfriend to see if he's ok with this? What were you thinking at that time?"

"Taemin calm down we can talk about this-"

"No we're not. I'm leaving right now and don't even try to follow me." And he storms out of your house, slamming the door behind him as he goes. Fuck.
