Chapter Twenty-Six

An hour ago...

You quickly drove to Jimin's house, not even bothering to dress up nicely.

When you were close, you remembered that he once mentioned how there were security cameras in front of his house.

If those people had this much information on them, what if they knew we were faking the breakup?

Just to be safer, you called Jimin, crossing your fingers and hoping that he would answer.

"Y/N?" 

"Jimin. Listen carefully. I need you to do something for me," you say, talking really fast.

"Babe, what's wrong?"

"I'll tell you when I get there. Turn off the security cameras in front of your house. I'm almost there. No one can see me enter." 

"Uhh sure..." Jimin says hesitantly, "But are you in danger?"

"No not me. I'll explain when I get there." you say.

"Alright, I'll leave the door unlocked." he says, before hanging up.

You parked your car nearby and pretty much ran to Jimin's house. Just to be careful.

"Is Jin here?" you ask, out of breath.

"No. He went out this morning saying he had something to do. He didn't say what."

You didn't think much of what this meant. 

You two sat on his sofa, and you see that he already prepared some coffee for you.

He goes to turn the cameras back on, and you noticed that he had a display case, filled with many things.

Yet something stood out to you.

There were two handmade bracelets, placed near each other. 

You noticed that one of them had Jimin's initials on it, and a heart after them.

You hear Jimin's footsteps approaching, and quickly took a few pictures of them.

I thought he said he has never been in a relationship before?

I'll figure this out after. Right now, I need to get Chaeyoung back, without actually breaking up with Jimin.

"So, Y/N, what's going on?" Jimin finally asks, taking a seat beside you.

You pull out your phone and show him the texts from this morning. 

He swallows nervously as he reads through them. 

"Shit. Did you call any of the other members yet?"

"No I didn't even think of that. Here wait, I'll call Jennie now." you say.

She picks up on the third ring, and you put it on speaker so Jimin can hear what she says. 

"Jennie, it's Y/N," you say, almost as soon as she picks up.

"Y/N? Are you ok? You sound worried," she asks. Wow is it that obvious?

"Where is Chaeyoung?"

"She went out earlier. I didn't ask where. Did you call her?"

"Yes. She didn't pick up."

You mouth to Jimin to call Jin, to see if he knew where she was.
