Chapter Thirty-Two

After looking through the situation at hand, your manager finally speaks up.

"We have two options," Namjoon says, "We can either confirm this or vaguely deny it. Although denying it will be harder, it is possible. Jimin and Y/N, which one do you want?"

"Will...confirming it cause any trouble?" you ask hesitantly. You were a little worried about what netizens would say since you started dating Jimin not long after your breakup with Taemin.

"No, it shouldn't." he says.

You pull Jimin aside and ask him, "Should we confirm it?"

"Baby, I'm ok with it as long as you're comfortable with it." he says with a smile. He takes your hands into his and holds them.

Namjoon clears his throat, trying to remind you two that you aren't alone.

"Let's confirm it," you say, "I don't want to hide it from my fans anymore."

"Whatever you want, Y/N," Jimin says. Ignoring Namjoon, Jimin proceeds to plant a kiss on your forehead. This causes you manager to fake a cough, making the two of you smile.

"So...should we confirm it?" Namjoon finally asks.

"Yeah, let's do that," you say.

"Ok, I'll go get the statement ready. I'll release it later today. Find or take a picture of you two together. Post it on your social media accounts an hour or two after I release the statement. Got it?" 

"Yes, boss," Jimin says teasingly to your manager.

"Wait. We need your help with something else." you say.

It was 5 pm, a time when you and Jimin knew that Jin would definitely be at Jimin's house.

You look at him, feeling a little nervous, and he opens the door.

When the two of you walk in, you see Jin standing there with two luggages beside him.

"Kim Seokjin," Jimin says coldly.

So Jin was planning to leave.

"Hmm? Oh I didn't realize you would be back so soon." he says, a little flustered that he was caught.

Jin sees you two eyeing the luggages and says, "Oh um I have to visit my family...something came up, it's kind of an emergency."

He's lying. He's refusing to look me or Jimin in the eye.

Jimin seems to be thinking the same thing, because he closes the front door, locks it, then stands in the way so that Jin won't be able to leave.

"You're not going anywhere." Jimin says.

Oh wow my Jimin looks so manly like thi- 

No Y/N. This is not the time.

"Huh? What- why can't I-" Jin stutters, still feigning innocence.

"We know you leaked our relationship," you say.

"So you figured it out. I was starting to think that you were never going to realize it." Jin scoffs.

"You-" you start to say.

"You know, your fans are surprisingly loyal to you. I really thought they would turn on you."

"You leaked it." Although you already knew this, for some reason, hearing it from him sounded different.

"Was it not obvious enough? I literally told Dispatch to identify me as 'J'," Jin says.

"Why?" Jimin says, quietly but not weakly, "Why are you doing this?"

"Because I want to ruin your lives. And plus, why not? Why should you 'idols' get to live like this? Since you receive all this love, someone has to give you some hate...And plus, being a singer is just your job, why should you get so much love along with it? I don't get love just because I'm a chef. Why should you get love for being a singer?"

"You're doing all this because of Jisoo." you say.

"Wow you really had to mention her. That bitch thinks she's so good and above everyone else just because she debuted and got popular. I'm sure Chaeyoung told you her side of the story," Jin says angrily, "You know why she broke up with me? She thinks she's too good for me just because she got to debut in a YG girl group. So what?!"

What the fuck, this guy is just twisted.

"That's not what Jisoo is like. She would never do that. She was afraid you would get in trouble if YG found out."

"Of course she would say that," Jin sneers, "I was going to marry her and then she broke what with me! I spent so long saving up for that!"

"Well how would she have known that? There's no way sh-"

"It was all you," Jimin suddenly says, realizing something.

"What?" you ask.

"The leaked photos that Taemin got mad over, the fake kidnapping...you did all of that," Jimin says.

"Oh? You didn't know?" Jin taunts, acting surprised," I thought you two were so smart and figured everything out!"

"Why?" Jimin says loudly. He's mad, but he's trying to control himself, "Why did you have to do all this to my Y/N?"

"Your Y/N?" Jin scoffs, "Why are you acting like you're married or something? It's just a fling and you two are going to break up. Hmm should I bet who will dump who? Let's see...I think tha-"

"That's enough, Jin."

"Fine. You don't want me to bet on your breakup. We'll see how long you two last." Jin says, "Right, I was going to answer something...which question was it..."

"Why did you pick Y/N?" Jimin says, basically glaring at Jin.

"Oh thank you for reminding me, Jimin," Jin says sarcastically, "You really want to know? Y/N was an easy target. She just broke up with Taemin, she-"

"Which you caused," Jimin interrupts.

"Yes, I caused it. I admit it, happy? Now please stop interrupting me, Jimin, if you want your answers. As I was saying, our Y/N here just broke up with Taemin, she was so heartbroken over him, and a handsome guy like me comes up to her, offering to fuck her and make her happy. Of course she would take that offer. And you're close to all my targets. You are best friends with Chaeyoung who literally lives with Jisoo. And you're going to work with Jimin. It was so easy to get information after I became his chef!"

"So it wasn't because of Jisoo," you say.

"Did you believe that? I can't believe it! That was just some story I made up on the spot! Oh God, Y/N, you're so gullible."

"Thank you." you say, and then you pull out the microphone that was clipped to neckline of your shirt.

"You little bit-" Jin starts. Jimin slaps Jin on his cheek.

Jimin leans in close to Jin and says, "You don't get to call Y/N that. In fact, you shouldn't be calling any girl that."

Something's not adding up...

"Wait. Why are you telling us all this?" you ask.

"Because you won't report me to the police anyways." Jin says, "Well, unless you want to ruin your reputation and destroy your whole career."

Finally! I've been waiting forever to write this chapter. 

I feel so evil for making Jin like this but oh well. It was fun.
