Chapter Fifteen

"Now, what do we have here, Y/N? Not cheating on me with Park Jimin?" Taemin says, startling you. "Why is he holding your hand then?"

You quickly pull away, although it was useless.

"It's not what it looks like." you say.

"Y/N, don't you have anything new to say? Everyone says that."

"Taemin, let's talk somewhere else." you suggest. A lot of the staff were look at the three of you now. You really hope they won't go around spreading rumours about you.

"Why not here? I'm afraid you're going forget about meeting with me again. Or maybe double book with someone else. Does Jimin know about this before he started dating you?"

"Taemin." Jimin says softly, but not weakly. You hear gasps and more whispers around you, all about you and Jimin.

"We. Are. Not. Dating." To Jimin, these few words felt like a stab to his chest, although you had no idea. "How many times do I have to repeat this before you finally understand?" You were starting to get angry at Taemin. Jimin puts a hand around your shoulder, and you see Taemin eye his hand. You are tempted to shrug it off, but you don't.

"Taemin, stop making a scene here." You hear a voice behind you say. You turn around and recognize the owner of the voice as Lia from Itzy

"I wouldn't only be doing this if I were trying to make a scene, Jisu"

"Y/N, come on. You need to get ready." Lia says, on behalf of the makeup staff.

"Ok." You leave Taemin behind without even glancing at him.

"We're not done, Y/N." he calls out.

"Yes we are. I was done with you the second you broke up with me."

If you weren't a celebrity, you would've stuck out your middle finger at him, but with all the cameras around, unfortunately, you couldn't.

"Thanks for what you did back there." you say to Lia, who was waiting in the same area. She's here for her solo debut, but would be performing after you.

"It's nothing."

"Did you know Taemin from before?" It seemed like they did, especially the way Taemin talks to her. He doesn't talk to strangers like that.

"Yeah. We went to the same high school in Seoul." she says, before going quiet.

"Y/N...Can I have your number? I'm a fan of yours and..." Lia trails off shyly, holding out her phone.

"Yeah, sure." Then, the two of you exchange numbers.

Chaeyoung: Y/N

Chaeyoung: I want to talk to you

You: Unnie?

You: About what?

Chaeyoung: Let's meet up

Chaeyoung: Tomorrow?

You: What is it that you wanted to talk about?

Chaeyoung: You'll find out tomorrow.
