After three hours of girls around me pestering me about Vinnie while I attempted to focus on what the professor was saying and trying to take notes, the lecture was finally over. I packed up my stuff and walked out of the room with Luke and about thirty girls following close behind.
Luke came up next to me and we exchanged numbers, it'll be good to be friends with someone who talked to me before they knew I knew Vinnie. "My friends and I are having a party this weekend, you should come," he said. I nodded, liking the idea and then he said goodbye before darting off somewhere. I still had thirty girls following me and asking questions about Vinnie and asking to hang out and all that two-faced crap. I got out to the entrance of the Uni and saw a large huddle of girls standing around a mop of dirty blonde curls leaning against a car. What was Vinnie doing here?
I walked into the crowd, pushing through until I arrived in front of Vinnie. "You have a crowd too?" he asked. I nodded and then he opened the car door and I got in. He went around the other side and got in as well, driving off. "The second my professor introduced me, people knew who I was and then came the crowd of girls asking to be friends 'n' all that. I even had girls asking if I could set them up with you," I said, laughing to myself. "Sorry about all of that," Vinnie said as he took a right, "I didn't really think that something like that would happen" he added. I didn't think something like that would happen either but all it means is that I might just have to keep my guard up a little longer than I normally would. "Don't worry, it just makes it easier for me to see who real friends are," I said truthfully. Vinnie nodded and kept driving. "I thought you had a photoshoot until three or something," I said after a little while. I'm still shocked that Vinnie showed up at my Uni and I don't really know why he picked me up. Maybe it was to drop me off so I didn't have to get an Uber or maybe he wanted to do something.
"Yeah, my shoot finished early which was good. Do you wanna come back to mine?" he asked. answering multiple of my questions in one go. "Yeah, I just need to get to work by four but I should probably get home before that and change my shirt," I said referencing the tiny top I had on. "You can just borrow one of mine then you can stay a little longer," Vinnie replied. It was nice feeling wanted in a city full of millions of faces I've never seen in my life. Twenty minutes later we pulled up to the huge house and entered into the huge foyer. I still can't get over how big this house is but it makes sense considering there's a bunch of rich people who live in it together.
We went into the kitchen and sat at the bench talking to Kouvr and Michael. This is the first time I've been in this house and seen them when they're not fighting. Nikkita came in not long after. I've never actually met her I just know her after I got Jess to explain to me who was in the hype house and what they all did and all that and if I'm honest, Nikkita kind of scares me. I did tell Jess to exclude anything about Vinnie because I want to figure him out myself and I don't think I'd be able to do that if I had a preformed idea of him.
"Oh my god! You must be Madi! I'm Nikkita!" she said very enthusiastically, "Are you and Vinnie dating? Vinnie's told me so much about you," she whispered in my ear, loud enough for Vinnie to hear, causing him to choke on the water he was drinking. "No, we aren't dating," I said awkwardly.
Two people in one day have asked or assumed that we hooked up or we're dating. I mean, Jess has made many assumptions about Vinnie and I in front of Vinnie so he pretty much expects it from her but we haven't had anyone else that we know in person say anything. It's kind of awkward. "Really? I just assumed because this kid never shuts up about you," she said pointing at Vinnie. "Ok, thank you Nikkita. That's enough for today, you can leave now," Vinnie said, pushing NIkkita out of the room.
Everyone else in the kitchen was absolutely cracking up while Vinnie and I just kind of sat there awkwardly. after everyone calmed down a bit we continued talking and slowly people started leaving so Vinnie and I headed up to his room for a little bit. We just put on some music and vibed for about an hour. it was 3:10 when I checked the time, signalling we should start heading over to my work so I won't be late.
"We should probably leave now," Vinnie said just as I was about to speak. "Yeah, I was about to say that," I laughed. he got up and walked over to his wardrobe, pulling out a black shirt and throwing it in my direction. "I have to go to the bathroom," I said as I slipped the shirt over my head. "Ok, ill wait for you down at the car," he replied.
I went into the bathroom and did my stuff then came out and went downstairs. Mia appeared from around the corner and a smile appeared on her face. "When did you get here?" she asked. "About an hour ago. I'm actually leaving now but we should do something together," I said, earning a smile from Mia. "I was just about to say the same thing," she smiled. We exchanged numbers and I went outside to find Vinnie leaning against his car. I took a few photos just because I thought they'd be cool for him to post and just as I was bout to take a third photo he looked up and saw me. "You taking photos again?" he asked.
"Yeah, you're very photogenic," I replied as he went around to his side of the car and I got in the passenger side. I swear I have like fifty photos of Vinnie from the skatepark and other places just because he's very photogenic and photography is fun. "Send them to me," he said as he started the car. "It's too bad Connor got in the background" I joked, earning a laugh from Vinnie.
