Boss From Hell

KYRA'S POV

I stood there frozen for what felt like three lifetimes.
Mr Coleman's eyes still bore into my own and for a second it felt like he was staring directly at my soul.

He looked so hot when angry, which made things even worse for me, as I wasn't sure whether I should be turned on or continue fearing for my life.

I could taste the tension in that very moment, he was obviously offended by my words.

Jayden somehow decided that that was the perfect moment to put his arm around my waist and pull me closer to him.

Mr Coleman dropped his gaze and looked down and Jayden's arm and I saw his jaw tense. When he looked up, he somehow looked even angrier than he was before. Soon as we made eye contact I dropped my eyes to my feet.

"Look sir, I'm very sorry", I started. " everything I said just then was coming from a very emotional place and I was just disappointed that you hadn't shown up after all the work I put in to this whole event. I hope you understand and I would very much like to keep my job".

When I looked up, Mr Coleman's eyes were glued to Jayden's. You could cut the tension between them with a knife.

I cleared my throat and decided to introduce Jayden, " Sir this is my boyfriend Jayden and Jayden this is my boss Mr Coleman".

Mr Coleman extended his hand in an attempt to shake Jayden's  hand. Jayden just started at his hand while gripping my waist even tighter.

Rude!

I nudged him on the ribs and he used his other hand to shake Mr Coleman's hand.

"I-" I was cut of before I could even properly start my sentence by a beautiful blonde woman who came from nowhere and clung onto Mr Coleman's arm and kissed his cheek before turning to us.

"David, Sweetie, who are these people and why did we have to come here, the party is almost over and we could have went to yours instead of coming here" she complained.

She was beautiful, she was tall, had beautiful hair, had breasts that were so big, they looked like they would fall off her dress. I looked down at my breasts and felt very self conscious.

I should go. I have a guy who loves me just as I am and I should stop thinking about my boss, who is obviously attracted to a different kind of girl, than I could ever be.

He turned to her and said, " I just need to go over something with my assistant and then we can be on our way". He turned back to me and asked, "Miss White, could you come upstairs with me for a few minutes".

He didn't even wait for my response before he started walking towards the elevator, his actions causing his date to roll her eyes and walk towards the bar.

I turned to Jayden and told him I'd be back in a minute.

"Whatever he has to say he can say to you on Monday during proper working hours. I don't understand why he wants to talk to you now. And I would prefer it if you didn't go. I don't like the way he was looking at you",Jayden said not letting me go.

I looked at him and sighed, " Jayden you can't seriously be jealous of my boss. He's 10 years older than I am. Nothing's happening between us"

Mr Coleman looked very young and attractive for a 35 year old and I couldn't deny that I found him attractive but I wasn't going to say that to my boyfriend.

"I only have eyes for you, you know that right?" I assured him, " now go get yourself a drink and I'll be back before you know it" I said giving him a little peck on the lips.

He let go and I walked towards the elevator.

When I got upstairs I knocked on Mr Coleman's door and he told me to come in.

This is the last place I wanted to be! I just wanted to be home stuffing my face with ice cream while watching a cheesy and cringe romantic comedy on Netflix.

"You wanted to see me Sir", I said as I stood in front of Mr Coleman's desk.

He stood up and walked to where I was standing. Then he moved closer and backed me up on his desk.

I could feel his breath on my skin and his intoxicating scent filled my nostrils.

This man was a walking temptations. Sex on a stick for sure!

He looked at me up and down and his gaze was so intense I couldn't meet it. His eyes finally landed on my lips and I watched as he ran his tongue on his lips. "You look beautiful tonight princess" he muttered.

I felt my face heat up as I watched him look at me like I was food and he hasn't eaten in days.

"Thank you Sir" I said shyly.

"There's no need for formalities princess, you can call me David" he offered.

I nodded my head and tried to put some distance between us but somehow managed to have him even closer than before.

Our lips were so close together that if I moved forward even a little bit, they would touch.

"Your date seems lovely" I said trying to distract him.

He chuckled and responded "can't say the same about yours".
"What are you doing with that boy", he continued.

I rolled my eyes before saying, " same thing you're doing with that blonde girl".

He grinned a little bit before asking, " are you jealous princess?"

" No I'm not-" I was cut off by David's lips crashing into mine.
