*Kyra's POV*

His house was beautiful. I don't think I could of expected anything less off him.
The floors were covered in dark marble titles and the furniture was as white as fresh snow.

The living room had a large white couch with black and grey pillows and was directly opposite the biggest tv and fireplace I'd ever seen. The grandeur and elegance of his house stunned me.

I was still admiring it when my stomach grumbled and I decided to go find the kitchen.

It was massive and also white. The kitchen island was made of a black granite surface and the black and white simply matched together really well.

I made myself a quick tuna sandwich and had a glass of orange juice while sitting on the stools on the side of the island.

When I was done I washed up and decided to go have a shower as I hadn't showered yet.

I went up the long marble stairs and went into the bathroom in the room I had slept in. It had both a bath and a shower and I was honestly spoiled for choice.

I decided I needed to soak myself in a hot bath after last night and so I opened the bathroom cabinets and found bath salts which I poured into the bath I was running for myself.

When it was ready and had all the bubbles and the room smelled of lavender and a hint of something herbal, I undressed and soaked myself in the bath.

My thoughts immediately went to the night before and a lone tear escaped my eye. I wanted to drown myself in this bath and just end it all.

I closed my eyes as more tears came out until I was softly sobbing. I didn't deserve any of what was happening to me. Yes I had wronged Jayden but I didn't deserve him calling me names and putting his hands on me like that.

While I was getting lost in that train of thought, David came into my mind and I realised he had saved me last night and for that I was very grateful.

I wiped the tears off my face and decided I wasn't going to cry about any of this today. That I was going to enjoy my day in this big house by myself and would face my life and it's struggles later when David came back from work.

Before the water got cold, I washed myself and dried off then found some lotion and a toothbrush in the cabinets.

Oh to be rich!!

When I was done I realised I had no clean clothes to wear. So I decided I'd borrow some from David. I grabbed a white fluffy dressing gown that was folded in the cabinets, put it on and put on the slippers that were also in the bathroom cabinets. Then I went to Davids room.

I knew which one it was because it was one of two rooms that had the door closed on the floor that I had not gone in while snooping because ironically, I respected his privacy and was also afraid he might be in there sleeping. But I thought, if he was he would have heard me by now and came out.

So I went into his bedroom and decided I wasn't going to look around, I would head straight for what I wanted and walk out. Peoples bedrooms are very intimate and even being inside here without his permission felt wrong.

I rushed into his walk in closet that was filled with all kinds of expensive clothes. From suits, tuxedos to basic sweatpants.

I grabbed a large black hoodie walked out of his room and back to the one I slept in.

I took off the dressing gown and put on the hoodie and decided out of everything in his closet he wouldn't mind losing just one hoodie.

I was aware that I wasn't wearing any underwear but realised I couldn't do anything about that. I grabbed my dirty clothes and underwear and threw them in the bin. I never wanted to see any of them again.

When I was done, I made my bed and tidied up the room before going downstairs to make myself something else to eat and maybe watch a movie.

I went straight into the kitchen and decided I was going to make myself some chicken alfredo pasta for lunch and have it with some wine.

David's fridge and kitchen cabinets were fully stocked and I knew he definitely had someone coming in to help him every now and then.

I made enough pasta for lunch and dinner and hoped David wouldn't mind reheated food and if he did, well he'd have to make himself something then.

When I was done I sat down with my food and poured myself a glass of Pinot Grigio. When I was done eating, I washed up. Poured myself more wine, and put the bottle under my armpit while I grabbed myself two packets of crisps and some sweets. Before I went and sat in front of the tv.

Way to make yourself at home Kyra

I knew I shouldn't really get this comfortable in someone else's house but I decided I needed this and David would have to understand.

I turned on the tv, clicked on Netflix and played my comfort film. ME BEFORE YOU!!

My eyes were glued to the screen so much so that I failed to acknowledge that someone else had entered the room.

It wasn't until I heard them clearing their throat that I jumped out of my reverie.

I jumped a little and almost spilled my wine but managed not to. I placed the glass on the coffee table in front of me before I started dusting off non-existent crumbs off David's hoodie, as the lady in front on me didn't drop her gaze off me.

She kept her gaze directly at me and asked, "Who are you?"

Shit I'm screwed!
