In the busy streets of Los Angeles, Bugs is one of the many who dreams of expressing his idealism thoughts with the world.

Ever since he was a young kid, he had always wanted to make inventions that could help change the world for the better.

Like newly technical advancements.

Military equipment.

Or even medical supplies.

But sadly all he got so far, within the drafts of his notebook, was a carrot peeler and no investor to take his idea into manufacturing.

Yet, that is, because he still has high hopes to one day improve his work and become the best inventor that he can be.

Right now, he is currently living in a studio apartment with his best friend, Rodney, who he had been friends with for a very long time.

Since they were little kids at a summer camp, near Lake Tahoe, called the Camp Winninaki.

After the two split apart from their camping trip, they were able to bump into each other again in college and started from there again.

The next thing they knew, they decided to help each other out with their business plans by becoming roommates and sharing the rent for the living space of their newly renovated apartment.

Bugs, at this time, had just gotten up from his sleep and staggered into the kitchen for his daily dose of caffeine and breakfast to fill up his energy for the day.

Not long after the crisp burning smell of eggs filled the room, Rodney, had also awoken up from his sleep and sat down at the dining table, nearby.

"Morning, Rodney. How are ya?" Bugs asked in his usual tired voice while pouring the freshly brewed coffee onto two cups.

"*yawn. I'm good Bugs, ready to start another day at work?" Rodney asked Bugs, referring to another thing that they both share in common, working as full time baristas for a local coffee shop in town that they were both set to arrive at the place in 30 minutes for their shifts.

"You bet ya." Bugs said, monotone.

Although, the coffee shop was a neutral job and easy way to save up, it was also getting to be very tiring and boring at this point.

Seeing how he and his friend had already worked there for several years now with neither of them able to start their own businesses, yet.

Like Bugs, Rodney wanted to also be a part of the marketing world by becoming a creative analyst and marketing agent for potential inventions all around the globe.

But with that type of job, comes with knowing popular and powerful references to shoot them a chance for a spot.

To which neither of them have to begin with for a jumpstart on their careers anytime soon.

"Great. Because I'm gonna need a power nap after this shift ends. I haven't slept very well at all since we had to close up the shop yesterday." Rodney said, in an obvious tone of complaint.

"Well here, take this cup of energy to go then. You're gonna need it to get through the rest of the day." Bugs said sarcastically while handing him a cup of coffee that was filled with creamer up until it looked barely tan in the light.

"Thanks buddy." Rodney said with a small smile while sipping on it slowly since it was still hot.

"No problem. I gotta get dressed. Help yourself to some of these eggs while you're at it." Bugs said while walking over to his room.

"Hey, wait! Bugs! Aren't you going to eat too?" Rodney asked over in a holler so that his friend can hear him.

"In a little bit. Right now, my head feeling stuffy and I have to take a shower so that I can wake myself up." Bugs yelled back before closing the bathroom door behind him.

"Okay, then." Rodney called back before helping himself to the eggs that were sizzling still on the pan.

After 20 minutes has passed by, Rodney, who had just finished eating some eggs with coffee, was getting ready himself in a separate guest bathroom with his uniform all tucked in and checked the time with his watch and gasped immediately.

His eyes went suddenly wide when he realized how much that they have left until work starts and was quickly brushing his teeth before he left the bathroom in a split second.

"Oh shoot! Bugs! Hurry up! We gotta go! Our manager is going to kill us if we're late again!" Rodney yelled out.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming. Give me a break will ya? Old man Ralph is not going to bite our heads, just yet. So relax. I'll be done in 5 few minutes, tops." Bugs said, tiredly.

"We don't have 5 minutes, Bugs! We gotta go now!" Rodney pleaded while grabbing his shoes in a rush, and tying them fast.

"You're being melodramatic. He probably won't notice us if we're even a minute late." Bugs said rolling his eyes while straightening out his uniform before exiting out of the bathroom, calmly.

He then walks back over to the kitchen and grabs a chunk of an uncooked bread slice to eat while also taking some coffee to go in a cup.

"Dude, I'm not kidding. We could get fired if he catches us not working at the registers by our shift hour." Rodney said in a panic while Bugs picks up his shoes and ties his own to his feet.

"That's what you say all the time. It's not even a big deal. Heck, I wouldn't even care if I have to show up today, or not. It's just everyday normal life to me. Nothing more special about that" Bugs said as he stood up after he finished tying his shoes.

"Well I don't know about you? But I certainly don't want to get fired today. No siree" Rodney said while he walked over to the counter and grabbed the keys from a bowl.

"But, aren't you tired of working over there all the time? Rodney it's been five years. When are you going stop working there and finally get yourself a real career for once?" Bugs asked, curiously.

While it is true that this job was just a temporary spot until their real shot to fame come in.

It was certainly taking them a lot longer than he expected to make that change happen .

He just wishes that when the right time will come, he'll immediately jump over to that golden gate of opportunity for the chance of a lifetime.

"When I'm lucky and rich enough to. Now come on, the traffic will be backed up if we don't leave soon." Rodney said as the two left the apartment and got into a shared car to drive off to work.
