One hour earlier ago, Bugs's shift was just about over at the cafe as he clocked out of his register and walks out of the shop before driving on back to the apartment complex to help Rodney out with the big move."Alright Bugs, ready to get this junk into the truck? It's going to be a long way for me, since I have to drive all the way over there now. Those airport flight attendants must be having field day with New York City" Rodney said with sarcastic enthusiasm in his tone from the fact that he has to now move all of his stuff over by hand using a U-Haul truck due to his new boss wanting him to start working for them soon along with the fact that all of the airport flights to New York were extremely full at the moment.
"Sure." Bugs mumbled in gloomy state while randomly grabbing some items to put into the moving truck, that was parked right outside the apartment complex.
At first, Rodney thought that his mood was from being simply tired at work.
However, as many minutes have passed by in silence without a single joke or anything that would show he is not at least enthusiastic, he knew then that something was bothering him.
"Oh no. Don't tell me that my best bro is feeling down again. What is it this time?" Rodney asked, curiously.
"He's leaving." Bugs mumbled with his head lowered down.
"Who? That Daffy guy? Why?" Rodney asked, confused.
"I don't know." Bugs said with a shrug while putting one of the lamps in the moving truck.
"Okay, what is going with you two?" Rodney asked in concern.
"I have no clue. One day we were laughing and carrying on about our dreams. But then last night...everything seemed so different. It's as if I had said something that must have offended him, somehow. Because he got upset for some reason and... even thought that I befriended him out of pity." Bugs said, sadly.
"Dang that's harsh. I'm sorry man, what are you gonna do now?" Rodney asked.
"I have no idea." Bugs said with a shrug.
"Then run to him now and while you still can." Rodney advised.
"But what if he..." Bugs was going to ask until he was cut off.
"Listen to me. For as long as I have known you, I noticed that whenever you start to fully believe in something, you would make sure to fight for it all the way through without any hesitation. So now, once more, this would be the perfect time for you to do that again." Rodney reminded him.
"Sigh. You're right.... Thanks." Bugs said with a half-smile and fractures of hope that were slowly growing in his heart.
Maybe there is a chance to fix this.
He thought.
"You're welcome. What time does he leave?" Rodney asked, curiously.
"I really don't know.....wait....He said tonight so that could have been anytime. Maybe even...." Bugs was going to say now until he got interrupted.
"Bugs it's alright." Rodney insisted.
"O...okay. Are you sure that you're good with moving all of this stuff on your own?" Bugs asked, quickly, to be sure.
"Pfft. It's okay. Just go on ahead now before the traffic gives you any trouble. I got this." Rodney said reassuring him that he can take care of his own moving boxes.
"Okay. Call me when you get to New York." Bugs said, running over to his car.
"Haha. It'll be a while, but I'll make sure to do that." Rodney said as the two waved goodbye before watching Bugs leave in his car.
He felt bad that he had to leave Bugs so soon with this situation.
But he hopes that he won't have to be alone for too long.
Because maybe, by a small spare chance, there would someone waiting for him by the door.

————————————————————————Bugs from there, drove as fast as he could over to the nearest airport in L.A and parked where the valets can park and hold onto the cars for them before heading inside the place.
There, he had asked for several workers on flight schedules that will carry out planes to Florida and saw that he only had 10 minutes to reach the recent one that will leave at 7:00pm.
He then swiftly ran past the luggage scans and other security checkpoints to make sure that the potential flyers are not carrying anything out of airport policy.
Which felt like a backed-up traffic jam until finally, he was able to reach a podium booth that held the plane for the specific city of Miami.
But by the time he got there, the lady had sadly informed that plane had already left its posting hour.
Which had just about shattered his heart, completely.
His head was in a daze, and he couldn't focus on the surroundings around him.
It felt like a movie that had left a bitter taste in its ending.
I'm too late.
Bugs thought.
"I'm sorry about that sir. Is there anything else I can do for you?" The flight attendant asked, feeling sorry for him since she had recognized his expression as the distraught type that tries to reach out to their loved ones before they take off somewhere far away.
"No that's okay. I'll just go home then. Thanks though." Bugs said with a half-smile so that he wouldn't make her feel bad for something that he knew she couldn't control and simply went back over to his car to drive on home.
By the time he had gotten back to the apartment complex, the first thing he noticed was that the moving truck was gone.
Which meant that Rodney had already finished up his packing and left the city.
Leaving him pretty much by himself for the time being.
Or....so he thought.
As Bugs then slowly walks over to his apartment room door and was fixing to lay down on the couch.
Until suddenly he stops abruptly when he sees Daffy sitting on the floor by the door waiting, with his head resting onto his knees.
Daffy?!
Am I seeing things....
Or...is he really here?
Bugs thought in complete shock before leaning over close to wake him up.
