After Daffy have calmly warped up the song with a few pitch ending keys, he took a silent relief breather while the crowd immediately applause in wild cheers. He looked straight over at Bugs and smiled softly with his heart racing fast, like a speeding freight train that was about to crash into a colliding wall.
Not long afterwards, his friend Paul walked up to the stage and commended him on the spot for a job well done.
"There you have it folks. Our musical solo sensation. Daffy Duck. Give him more rounds of applause everybody." Paul encouraged as the cheers increase in volume with whistles on their behalf of the compliments as well.
Daffy then, quietly bowed down as a personal 'thank you' before getting off the stage and headed directly to Bugs, whose smile is wider in bright colors.
"You were amazing." Bugs praised with his hand on his shoulder in gesture.
"Thanks, it really means a lot to hear you to say that." Daffy said with both of their cheeks turning into a dark rosy, red color.
"Hey, it's getting pretty late, do you want to head home?" Bugs offered since the time was running close to 1 am in the morning, and the two of them definitely need to go to sleep soon.
"Sure." Daffy said with a small nod as they walked together outside and got into the car to drive home.
Not knowing that Paul saw their interactions from a distance and started to laugh with a grin on his face.
Obviously getting him on stage, regardless of not getting paid for it, was a good start and he hopes for the best for his friend.
Because, in a very lucky coincidence, one of the female guests who was sitting in The Club tonight, happened to be a very famous music director, who was mostly certainly impressed by his performance.
She then, walked over to Paul so that she could have him pass down her business number over to Daffy for a potential interview, that will change the course of not only his job, but the life that he will have to decide to live afterwards.

When they got back to the apartment, Bugs closes the door behind him and immediately saw a note on his kitchen counter as he walks over and read it to himself, silently.
Hey Bugs,
I just want to let you know that I will be gone for a few days in New York City. I think I might have finally found us a way to quit our old jobs. But we'll have to see. I have several interviews to take care of first. So, I'll see you soon when I get back to town in two weeks.
Your Friend, Rodney.
"What happened? What did he say?" Daffy asked, confused while looking over at Bugs, whose face grew worried before quickly trying to brush out his thoughts, aside.
"Nothing. He's out of town right now and won't be back for two weeks." Bugs confirmed with a shrug while quickly ripping up and throwing away the note in the trashcan nearby so that Daffy wouldn't overthink too much about it.
He had just started to help Daffy build up his confidence again and didn't want to let him down over something that Rodney may be planning for them, without his knowledge on any of it.
Which was why he needed to get ahold of him as soon as he gets back so that there won't be any misunderstandings that could come across them, later.
"Oh okay. So, it's just the two of us, then?" Daffy asked, curiously.
