TW: mentions of sa

MONDAY:

I can feel my stomach churning, its contents threatening to spill everywhere. Elias pulls be back as Blake's head turns. I let out a shaky breath, trying to soothe my nausea. For a second, the sheer impossibility that we actually found him seemed victorious to me, but now it seems almost disgusting. No, it's definitely disgusting.

Elias lets out a stream of curses, trying to drag me up. "This was a terrible idea, c'mon y/n we have to go before he catches us." I let him drag me up as I swallow, nearly swaying on my feet. As we try to stumble back to the shrubs, I hear the front door open. I don't turn around as Elias props me up, trying to push me over the shrubs.

We don't make it in time because I hear Blake's voice. "Hey! You two! You better get the fuck out of here before I call the police!" He sounds rough, almost like he's out of breath. I nearly snort at my thought. Yeah, no shit, he's probably been going at it with that girl for who knows how long. Elias lowers me down, and I whip around at Blake, my body lit up with fury.

He still looks intimidating, his dark hair pitch-black in the sunlight and his eyes as icy as ever. The girl behind him clutches onto a giant sweater, her eyes staring me down. It's shocking to see how similar we are. Blake narrows his eyes as he takes sight of me, the look of fury replaced with astonishment.

I see Elias protectively standing slightly in front of me, his face drawn tight. "How's it been?" I blurt, my body betraying my stunned mind. The girl looks at me incredulously, glancing at Blake. My heart pounds loudly in my body as Blake studies me, looking from my shoes to the top of my head. I feel violated, almost like I'm just something to be looked at by the way his eyes gleam at the sight of me.

Elias's jaw hardens, and Blake flashes an easy smile. "Sara! It seems that I've mistaken you for some sort of intruder. I'm doing well! It's been so long since we've talked." Elias glances at me before stifling an outburst of rage. He tucks his hands in his pockets, and I notice that they're clenched. A feeling of gratitude flows through me. I step up beside Elias, staring at Blake.

"It's been not too long though? If I remember correctly, you saw me a few days ago?" The girl flinches, and I try not to let my smug feeling show. Blake laughs a hearty laugh, no doubt one that charms a lot of people. "Oh, yes, of course! That dinner was delicious! I'm so glad we caught up. Man, the company is really working us, huh?" The girl relaxes slightly, and I realize the situation.

Oh my god. Blake is making it seem like I'm a coworker since he works in a business environment. Maybe the girl is familiar with women going on dinners with him. It takes everything in me to not clench my fists in rage. Instead, I plaster on a smile. "Which was delicious, the dinner itself, or the view you had of me?" Elias whips around to look at me as horrified faces show up on Blake and the girl's faces.

I nearly cackle, but I manage to keep a straight face. I might have even added a bit of forced concern. Blake recovers quickly, his eyes widening in fake humor. "Oh, that's a good one Sara!" He even adds a chuckle at the end, but the girl beside him is glaring at me. I stick out a hand, smiling at her. "I'm Sara. And you are?" The girl glances at my hand and sniffs. "Laura." I smile wider. "Laura... Blake, you seem familiar with girls whose name ends with an 'uh' sound."

I watch in victory as Blake and Laura's faces grow even redder with rage. Elias besides me clears his throat. "We better get going before, well, I- uh, I have an errand to run." He stammers, and I grip onto Elias's arm, pulling him close to me. "Say, why don't we chat longer? They seem to be interesting people." I watch as Blake narrows his eyes at me. "I think that it's best if you get off of my property." He snarls, and I gasp loudly, placing a hand over my mouth.
