FRIDAY:

The next day, Elias doesn't even notice my hostility towards him as he talks to me. Willow and Zara both come to the store again, and I watch as Elias stares at Willow the entire time. I sense the fake adoration in his tone as he speaks about Willow. I don't even bother replying.

After a bit, Elias must notice my lack of responses because he corners me in the break room. "What's up with you?" He asks and I shrug. "What do you mean?" I ask and Elias gives me a look. "You know what's up. You're not responding with snarky comments or whatever." I narrow my eyes and I shove him further away. "Thanks," I respond, checking my phone.

Elias snatches my phone from underneath my nose and I snap at him. "Give me my phone back." Elias raises an eyebrow. "Are you good? You're extra moody today." I frown at him, surprising him as I snatch my phone back. "And if I am? You're not my therapist, you don't need to track my moods." I roll my eyes and Elias's face grows serious.

"y/n, what is up with you?" He asks again, and I try to calm down, just for a bit. "I don't know, why don't you ask yourself that question?" Elias's face scrunched up in confusion. "What is up with you Elias?" I repeat, heading back out to the counter, plastering on a fake smile.

Thankfully, for the rest of the day, Elias doesn't talk to me. He does, however, use every chance he can to talk to Willow. I watch, fuming, as he smiles widely at every statement Willow says. After a while, I give up on looking at them. I can't stand the way he acts so nonchalantly after what he did last night.

I shudder as I sort out the cash register. Who knows if something more than kissing happened at the slides. The thought of children sliding down the same slides that Elias and Juna had fucked each other on-. "Hey." The familiar voice snaps me out of my disgusting thoughts, and I look up, my heart skipping a beat.

Dream smiles at me and I offer a small smile in return. "Hi, what are you doing here?" I ask and Dream shrugs. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to a party tomorrow." I raise an eyebrow, crossing my arms. "A party? Wow, Dream, famous Minecrafter who never goes outside wants to go to a party?" I repeat and Dream laughs slightly, shaking his head.

"Yes, a party. I'm hosting it with my friends." He smiles again and I tilt my head, taking in his outfit. Immediately, I freeze, blinking. A faint memory reappears in my head, and I stare at him even more, realization sinking further and further into my stomach.

Dream waves a hand in front of my face, slightly chuckling. "Hello? You look like you saw a ghost." I blink rapidly, smiling a bit too widely. "Hi, hello, present!" I exclaim and Dream stifles a laugh. "You're awfully giggly," I comment, and Dream tries to hide another laugh. He clears his throat and looks around. The store is mainly empty, except for Willow and Zara.

A group of middle-aged women chatters loudly at the shoe section, trying on heels way too fashionable for them. "Dream, uh, don't take this the wrong way but..." I trail off, figuring out how to say this without making it weird. Dream stares at me quizzically and I sigh, rubbing my forehead.

"Okay, look, I think I met your mom." I cringe and watch as Dream's eyebrows go sky-rocketing. "What?" He manages to say, bewildered. I rub the back of my neck, averting his gaze. "Yeah, well, it wasn't intentional." Dream raises a hand, confusion written all over his face. "When? And how?" He asks and I straighten up.

"Well, it was a while ago. She handed me your clothes, the ones you're wearing right now, and I checked them out for her. She said that you're going to be meeting up with some friends from 'work' soon and that she wanted to gift you something." I explain, watching as Dream's cheeks do the opposite of what I thought they would have done; they flush with color.
