....why...
The blonde glared at the ground as the door opened and a pink haired girl came into the room. Lucy closed her eyes believing that the woman had come to harm her again.
This time was different. No pain came Lucy's way. Nothing did in fact, except a wet cloth. The girl gasped in surprise as the wet substance touched her cheek.
"G-goman..."
The blonde looked up to see a shy smile on the woman's face instead of a cruel one. The newcomer had a faint coloring to her cheeks as she wiped the blood and sweat from the girl.
"W-who are y-you...?"
"Goman, Lu-- Miss. Heartfillia...I am Aries...I won't hurt you....I promise."
"...do I know you?"
The woman's eyes filled with a sudden sorrow at the thought of the question. She avoided eye contact with the blonde and began to wipe away the last few days once more.
Lucy moved her face away from the woman's careful movements and looked at the woman's face.
"....please....y-you seem familiar....pl-please answer m-my question...."
The pinkette nodded staying quiet for a moment.
"Yes...but I doubt you would remember me. We met when you were very young."
Lucy looked at her confused.
"W-what do you m-mean?"
"Exactly as I said. It was before your parent had split up and when you were living here. I took care of you. Just as I now take care of Miss. Wendy."
"W-who..?"
"Your father's way of erasing the past. He adopted a small child after you and your mother left and assignned me to take care of her."
The blonde smiled softly.
"D-does he lo-love her..?"
The pinkette looked at the girl, confusion clearly shown on her face. Lucy's smile didn't leave her face. She simply watched the woman, quietly.
"I-I believe he does...that I can not be certain..."
The blonde only nodded as the woman began to wipe her down once more.
At least he has some compassion in him....

"Er-chan...?"
"Yes, Levy?"
The redhead glanced over at the small blue haired girl, who stood by the window. Levy shivered slightly and walked closer to her friend.
"My mom just called...she wants me home...I'll see you tomorow...alright?"
Erza simply nodded to the blue haired girl before Levy walked past her and out of the house. Erza walked over to the windows and leaned her back against it. She sighed contently as the cold glass pushed against her.
Erza growled as she heard a small knock coming from her door. She glanced at it before leaning her head against the glass behind her, closing her eyes.
Within moments, the knocking came again but louder. The redhead growled loudly and grabbed a metal baseball bat that was leaning against the nearby wall.
The knocking turned into pounding as Erza pushed away from the wall and made her way towards the door. She rested her hand on the knob and turned it quickly opening up the door.
Her eyes widened when she saw the sight in front of her.
