The pinkette stood in front of a blonde haired man. Aries and Wendy sat off to the side. The man watched the boy under cold eyes.
"What do you want?"
Natsu stood straighter and watched the man seriously.
"I'm Natsu Dragneel. One of my friends went missing the other day and I was wondering, if by chance, you have any information on her."
"Why would I know anything about the girl?"
"Because you have the same last name as her. My friend was Lucy Heartfillia. Do you know of her, Jude?"
The man narrowed his eyes at the boy.
"I know of her."
Natsu's eyes gleamed with hope.
"Do you know where she is, sir?"
Jude chuckled, darkly.
"I haven't seen that girl since her mother and I were divorced. Last I knew she was with her mother. I'm sorry but I can't help you."
With that said, the man turned towards the window as the boy's shoulders slumped.
"Thank you....sir....for your time...."
Natsu frowned and left the room, most likely leaving the estate itself.
"Jude?"
The blonde turned at the sound of the small child voice. He smiled slightly.
"Yes, Wendy?"
"You do know where Lucy is.....don't you? Why did you lie to that nice boy.....he returned me home.....why cou--"
"ENOUGH WITH YOUR RAMBLINGS CHILD!"
Wendy cringed at the coldness in the man's voice. He had hardly ever raised his voice at her. She scared too easily. The man sighed loudly before continuing.
"Wendy. I don't know where that girl is. I haven't seen her for many years."
The blue haired girl nodded, not believing a word he said.
"I understand, Jude. I apologize."
"You are alright. Now. Lisanna is in the other room. Why don't you run off and play."
"Yes, Jude."
With that, Aries and Wendy both exited into the other room, leaving the man alone.
---Natsu was walking back towards the town when he heard rustling behind him. Turning, he saw a blue haired child running towards him. He gasped in surprise when the small child clung to him.
"Woah! Wendy..? What are you doing here?"
The girl was breathing hard as she softly spoke to the boy.
"I-I need to t-tell you something..."
The pinkette tilted his head in confusion.
"What is it?"
"J-Jude...my fat---"
Before the small child had finished speaking, she was pulled away from the boy and held back by a white haired girl. The pinkette growled.
"Let her be, Lisanna!"
The girl cackled with laughter as she held the blue haired child in a headlock with knife to her stomach.
"Ah ah ah~ She isn't allowed to talk to scum like you~"
An evil smile was present on the white haired girl's face as Wendy shook with fear. Natsu glanced from the blue haired child to Lisanna, sighing.
"Look...don't hurt her. She just a child. I'll leave..."
The whitette smirked.
"You aren't going anywhere, boy~"
