Chapter Eleven:

Driving down the Catalonia streets in the dead of night, Johnny sped through the lights while trying to find Ms. Crawly's place. However...Mike saw the familiar nightclub they were driving by.

"Gotta check if Nancy is still in there," Mike informed the group as he hopped out of the vehicle. Johnny gasped when the mouse tumbled onto the sidewalk out of pure randomness.

"Mike!" Johnny called as he parked his truck near the nightclub.

Buster gasped to see neon lights flickering to show a sign called Leo's Night. The koala's body was paralyzed as his mind went off into a deep thought that no animal had ever gone before.

Johnny, Ash, Meena, Mizuki, Eddie, and Buster chased after Mike as they noticed Mike trying to get into the nightclub.

"Wait, what do you mean that I'm banned from the nightclub?!" Mike argued with the bouncer guarding the entrance.

"You're banned from the club since you try to advertise your way into it," the gorilla bouncer growled at the mouse.

Johnny stepped between Mike and the bouncer. "Oi, what's going on?"

"Yeah, why is he banned?" Ash questioned the bouncer.

"He's trying to get one of our singers to quit the club," the bouncer explained.

"Really? That's no reason to ban someone," Eddie responded with his arms crossed against his chest.

"Yeah, Nancy's in the talent show," Mizuki explained to the bouncer.

The gorilla bouncer snarled at the group. "She's staying in this club--"

"Oh, for goodness sakes, Derek, just let us in," Buster blurted out.

Everyone paused as they stared at Buster in shock.

Derek, the gorilla bouncer, recognized the koala instantly. He blinked just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. "Strange, you've changed."

"And for the better. Now, can we get in and see Nancy? Please and thank you," Buster requested without staying on the subject.

The gorilla gruffed. "Fine, get in."

The gorilla bouncer opened the door to the flashing neon lights and a bunch of animals partying in there. Buster stared into it with deep breaths.

In and out. Just in and out.

Buster entered the nightclub hesitantly with the group following behind him with confusion written all over their faces...especially Eddie.

"Uh...who's that, Mr. Moon?" Johnny asked Buster, who had his ears flicking at every noise and sound coming from everywhere. It appeared that the koala didn't hear the young gorilla.

Johnny tapped on Buster's shoulder, who just flinched at the contact but saw that it's the gorilla trying to get his attention.

"Who's that guy, Mr. Moon?!" Johnny asked more loudly over the thumping music.

"He's just some guy I know a long time ago!" Buster answered vaguely.

"What?!" Ash shouted.

"I think he says he knows him a long time ago!" Meena answered while her big ears were more outwards to absorb all the noises.
