Note- I'm from Australia so in some of my imagines you may notice I use some words some of you many not recognise 😂 obviously the cast of obx wouldn't use these words because they're American but I'm not used to using American words so I'm going to try harder to use them so some of y'all aren't confused :)
I used the work "esky" which is what us Aussies call a "cooler".  Apart from that I don't think I use anymore Aussie slang :)

It was no secret that JJ was extremely protective of Aaliyah. She'd been his best friend since the day they could walk, they were practically attached to the hip- always with one another no matter what. It was also no secret that the two of them were completely smitten with one another, it was clear to everyone around them the two were deeply in love- well it was clear to everyone except them.

"Lia come on! You've been in there for hours!" John B banged on the door.
Aaliyah rolled her eyes and continued fixing her wavy hair.
"Stop being so dramatic! I've only been half hour."
"That's still too long!"
Aaliyah tightened the strap of her new bikini and swung open the door, John B stumbling away from it.
"A warning would have been nice."
Aaliyah stuck her tongue out at the boy and sauntered into the living room where the rest of her friends sat, moaning and groaning about how hot it was in the chateau.
"I'm sweating my balls off right now." Pope complained leaning back into the seat.
"Are y'all ready to hit the water?" Aaliyah asked, pulling Kiara up from her seat.
"Damn your looking hot." Kiara winked jokingly
Aaliyah blew her a kiss and winked back, "all for you wifey."
"Damn mami." JJ grabbed Aaliyah from behind and kissed the side of her neck.
"Stop being a perv JJ." Aaliyah poked his side, making him jump away from her in surprise.
"Why so mean?" JJ pouted
"Aww sorry baby." Aaliyah mocked
"I have yo-"
"Is that a new bikini Lia?" John B asked coming out of the bathroom, cutting JJ off.
"Yep finally saved enough money to buy a decent pair."
"Well you chose well." John B grinned
JJ huffed and walked off, slamming the front door behind him.
Aaliyah rose an eyebrow confusingly, Kiara and Pope shrugged while John B was completely oblivious.
"Well we better get going." John B clapped his hands together.

"Got any juice boxes Kie?" Pope asked gesturing to the esky she was holding.
"You bet, I've got juice boxes and shit tonnes of snacks."
"You're the best Kie." Aaliyah praised, digging around for a beer.
John B drove the boat, trying to find a good place to park so we could all swim.
"Hey Lia, what about this spot?" John B asked
Aaliyah placed her hand on John B's shoulder, leaning over so she could have a look.
"I'm happy here." She shrugged
John B smiled and turned the boat off, anchoring it to the lake floor.
While Aaliyah was helping John B she realised JJ glaring holes into the side of John B's head.
She gave him a confused look, he simply narrowed his eyes and clenched his jaw, turning his attention to Pope and Kie.
"What's with him?" John B asked
Aaliyah tucked her hair behind her ears and shrugged, her gaze landing on the floor of the HMS Pogue.
"Hey Lia! Come in with me!" Kie yelled out
Aaliyah smiled and stripped from her clothing, revealing her new swimsuit.
Kiara jokingly cat called Aaliyah as she jumped into the cool water below.
"You need to tell me where you got that bikini from because that is some high quality shit."
"I'll send you the link to the website, they have the best range." Aaliyah gushed
Kiara nodded and looked around, making sure the boys weren't listening to what she was planning on saying.
"Just ask JJ out already." She whispered
Aaliyah gasped and coughed awkwardly, pulling Kiara's arm dragging her further away from the boat.
"I can't really swim if you're dragging me" she laughed
Aaliyah ignored her comment and turned to face the girl, water splashing at the sudden movement.
"I don't like JJ."
"Oh please." Kiara scoffed, "it's very obvious that the TWO of you like each other- I mean look at JJ now he's so jealous of John B being around you- hell he can't stop staring at you in that swimsuit."
Aaliyah sighed, there's no way JJ liked her back. There's no way. Sure she had dreamt of this moment for years but- it was too good to be true.
"I highly doubt it Kie, he's just been a flirt." She muttered, swimming off back to the boat.

"Penny for your thoughts?"
Aaliyah looked up at John B, smiling lightly.
"Are you ok?" He asked softly
She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, "yeah- yeah I'm all good."
"The truth Lia."
Aaliyah stayed silent for a few seconds, contemplating whether or not she should say something.
"JJ's been ignoring me since this morning." She mumbled
"Ahhh that's the issue?" John B laughed
Aaliyah raised an eyebrow at him, "how is that funny?"
"Because it's nothing you've done- he's jealous."
"Not you too." Aaliyah groaned
"Did Kie tell you the same thing?"
"She sure did."
"Well she's right. JJ loves you- he has for a long time and he gets jealous of literally any guy flirting with you- which honestly is why I flirt with you because I hope it will trigger him enough to tell you how he feels."
Aaliyah's eyes widened, she didn't know what to say. She never thought JJ would love her more as a friend.
John B wrapped his arm around the girl, "talk to him."
Aaliyah nodded and leaned her head against him.
"Yeah- ok."
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"
John B was suddenly ripped away from Aaliyah, being thrown to the ground.
Aaliyah shot up from her seat, gasping at the sight.
"JJ STOP IT!" She yelled
"YOU KNEW! YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL! YOU FUCKING DICK!" JJ screamed
"JJ LET HIM GO!"
JJ's icy blue eyes met with Aaliyah's hazel ones.
He pushed John B away and stormed into the chateau, slamming the door hard against the wall.
Aaliyah quickly followed him inside, desperately trying to stop him.
"JJ please stop! Please talk to me!" She pleaded
"There's nothing to talk about." He grunted
"There's alot of shit we have to talk about."
"I don't think so."
"I know you were jealous." Aaliyah blurted
JJ stopped in his tracks, turning around to meet Aaliyah's frustrated face.
"You don't know what your talking about." JJ scoffed
"Oh please JJ! I didn't want to admit to myself you liked me because well I didn't think it was true. I love you JJ and only you- and I want to be more than friends- if you'll have me." Aaliyah admitted
JJ walked closer to Aaliyah, wrapping her in his arms.
"Of course I'll have you. I've wanted nothing more than to call you mine." He whispered
Aaliyah grinned, leaning forward and pressing her lips to his.
"So you admit you were jealous?" She teased
"Ok maybe a little bit." JJ smiled rolling his eyes
"I think more than a bit-" JJ cut Aaliyah off by kissing her passionately, their lips moved in perfect sync with one another.
"So you're officially mine?" He asked, hope glimmering in his eyes.
"Hell yeah."
