Dinner for two

TW: Problems Eating

2 weeks of suffering. 2 weeks of pain. 2 weeks of confusion. 2 weeks of fear. What do I do? Who do I talk to? It has been 2 weeks since I have seen those notes. I haven't left the palace since. George is getting worried about me. I can't tell him XD isn't dead. He will be suffering if I do. Who do I tell. I have been working non stop to figure out how. How is he here? How do I stop him. I laid in bed and stared at the ceiling. I haven't gotten proper sleep. I haven't had time to eat much. I don't remember the last time I ate.

"Karl" I heard from outside my door.

"What?" I said as I sat up.

"You need to eat" George said as he came in the room.

"Later" I said as I laid back down.

"NOT LATER YOU HAVEN'T EATEN IN 8 DAYS" George shouted.

8 days? I haven't eaten in 8 days?

"Leave me alone....please" I said as I turned to look at him.

"I need to go get some...thing.....I will be back" George said as he shut the door.

He stopped shouting? I go out of bed and opened my drawer to get my clothes. In the drawer was a note. Another note for me. I grabbed the note. My hand were shakey. I began to open it.

"ₛₒ yₒᵤ ₜₕᵢₙₖ yₒᵤ ₕₐᵥₑ ₜᵢₘₑ? ᵣₑₘₑbₑᵣ ᵢₜ'ₛ yₒᵤ ₐₙd Gₑₒᵣgₑ'ₛ ₗᵢfₑ ₒₙ ₜₕₑ ₗᵢₙₑ" the note read.

I slammed the drawer shut. I clenched the note in my hands. I went back in bed. I could feel my anger rising. I bursted into tears.

Time skip

I curled up into a ball and cried my eyes out. What do I do? How do I fix this. Who could help me. I suddenly heard the door open.

"Karl?" I heard Sapnap say.

I sat up and tried to wipe my tears away but my tears kept streaming down my face.

"Funny, you always see me at my worst" I said as I tried to laugh.

He stayed silent. He began walking toward me and just hugged me.

"Don't cry" he whispered.

I hugged him back tight. I wasn't planning on letting go. My began to cry even more while hugging him. He got into a comfortable position while still hugging me.

"What's wrong?" He whispered.

"I can't tell you, you won't believe me and I don't want you to get hurt" I said as I let go of him.

Sapnap looked at me with a straight face. He locked the door and closed the closed the curtain. He got into bed and sat next to me.

"Karl, I am immortal and basically produce fire remember? I can't get hurt" Sapnap said as he smiled.

I grabbed the notes from my bedside table and handed them to him. I watched his smile disappear.

"Is someone threatening you?" He said as he started to clench his hands.

"It's.....XD" I said as I took a deep breathe.

"He's......back?!" Sapnap said as he sounded frustrated.

He stopped clenching his hands.

"I thought Dream and Ba-" He said before I cut him off.

"They didn't"

"They....lied" Sapnap said as he laid down and took a deep breath.

"I don't think they lied maybe their attempt failed?"

"Oh god what are we going to do" Sapnap said as he groaned.

"That is what I have been try to figure out for the past 2 weeks, so far no luck" I said as I laid down.

"2 weeks?" (Sapnap)

"Yeah"

"Have you been....eating" Sapnap said as he sat up.

"Um..."

"Karl" Sapnap said as he looked at me.

".....not recently"

"Karl get up and get dressed" Sapnap said as he stood up.

"Why?"

"Get up and get dressed" (Sapnap)

I nodded and I grabbed some clothes. I fixed my hair and looked over to Sapnap. He had his head in his hands and looked upset. He looked over to me and saw that I was dressed. He grabbed my hand and took me out of my room. He sprinted to the front door of the palace still holding my hand.

"Hey! Where are you guys going?" George said as he caught up with us.

"Just taking Karl somewhere but you should talk with Dream he misses you a lot" (Sapnap)

"Oh okay" George said as he smiled.

Sapnap grabbed my hand tighter as we walked outside. The sun beamed in my eyes. I shielded most of the light with my other arm. He took me to the village. I could feel the eyes staring at me. We suddenly stopped at a restaurant. We went inside and waited. I was nervous. Sapnap looked a bit angry. I opened my mouth to talk but nothing came out. I just stared at the ground. Soon a nice old lady came toward us.

"A table for you and your boyfriend?" The old lady said to Sapnap.

"Uh yeah yeah a table for 2" (Sapnap)

"I will take you to one of our romantic tables, I know this young fellow works with the royals and deserves only the best" the old lady said as she looked at me.

She took us to a place where there was no one. The was soft music playing and rose pedals on the floor. We sat down as she handed us the menus.

"I will be back, meanwhile you and your boyfriend decide what you want" The old lady said as she patted my head.

Boyfriend?

"So what are you going to get?" (Sapnap)

"I am not really hungry.....are you mad at me?" I said as I looked at Sapnap.

"Of course not and you better eat, it is just a lot to handle right with XD and you not eating, I care about you Karl" (Sapnap)

"I care about you too"

"Okay so you will eat.....for me?" (Sapnap)

"I will try"

"And Karl....." (Sapnap)

"Yeah?"

"I would never be mad at my "boyfriend"" Sapnap said as he chuckled.
