"Friend" Date

They both looked at me confused.

"Um I mean perfect time to go read that book we found" I said as I nervously chuckled.

"Oh um okay" (Karl)

"Well looks like I will be heading out now oh and about that double date let's say at 6 pm? Me and Sapnap will walk you guys to the place" Dream said with a smile.

Dream came towards me and whispered in my ear.

"Don't worry I will be back so we can have sex" Dream said jokingly.

"You're such an idiot" I said as I chucked.

"I am joking" Dream said as he laughed.

Dream left. Karl looked at me with a smile.

"Adorable" Karl said as he left.

Time skip      5:57pm               Garden   

"It's so pretty here, so many colors" Karl said as he sniffed the flowers.

"Yeah" I said as I brushed my hands along the flowers.

"They are so well kept and so vibrant" Karl said as he picked a lilac.

"I will give this purple lilac to Sapnap as a gift" Karl said with smile.

"Ooooo someone has a crush on Sapnap" I teased.

"We are just friends plus it is a great gift" (Karl)

"Speaking of friends we should head towards the palace entrance it is almost time to go" I said as I walked towards the entrance.

We arrived at the entrance to see Sapnap and Dream.

"Hey guys" Sapnap said as he put his bow on his back.

"Hey" me and Karl said in sync.

We looked at each other and laughed. Dream grabbed my hand and handed me a rose.

"A rose for the love of my life" Dream said as he gave me a forehead kiss.

"Gross" (Sapnap)

"Oh um Sapnap I got you this flower" Karl said as he handed him the lilac.

"Oh thanks" Sapnap said as he put it in his pocket.

It still showed the flower as it was sticking out of his pocket.

"Well kiss him he got you a gift" Dream said as he pushed Sapnap towards Karl.

I nudged Dream roughly to tell him to stop. Dream pushed them closer and closer.

"Um..." (Karl)

I grabbed Karl's hand and pulled him towards me.

"Dream stop seriously" Sapnap said as he shoved Dream.

We began to walk towards a grassy field. There were dandelions everywhere. We walked up a grassy hill. There was a a big tree and just enough space for us. There was a picnic blanket and basket on the ground set up. We sat down. I sat down next to Karl. Dream and Sapnap sat next to each other. We were all across from eachother. Sapnap was across from Karl and I was across from Dream.

"So where are your guards?" Sapnap said as he chuckled.

"Over there" I said as I pointed towards the guards who were down the hill.

"Oh alright, Karl I have a question" (Sapnap)

"Let me guess you want him to be your boyfriend" Dream said as he chuckled.

Karl giggled.

"No not that, what does a purple lilac represent?" Sapnap said as he pulled out the flower.

"I just thought it looked pretty" Karl said as he smiled.

"Well I can tell you what it means" I said as I grabbed the flower.

"I have been stuck in a palace my whole life so I gave learned about flowers, the purple lilac means....first love" I said as I handed the flower back to Sapnap.

Dream began to laugh.

"I just thought it was pretty it you want I can take it ba-" Karl said before he was cut off.

"No no I will keep it" Sapnap said as he cut off Karl.

Sapnap placed the flower next to him and smiled. Karl smiled.

"Lets eat" Dream said as he started taking things out of the basket.

Karl POV          Time skip                         

I stood up and walked down the hill.

"Where are you going?" George asked.

"Just to go look at the dandelions" I said as I continued to walk down.

"We will come with if you want" George shouted.

"No thanks" I said in a loud voice.

I walked down the hill.  I brushed my hands along the tall grass. The breeze moved the grass making it sway. My hair moved along like the grass. I took in a deep breath. I sat down and picked a dandelion. I blew on it and watched it fly away. I reached my hand to pick another. Instead I felt a piece of paper. I grabbed it and began to open it.

"Yₒᵤ ₘᵢgₕₜ ₘₐₖₑ ₑᵥₑᵣyₒₙₑ ₕₐₚₚy bᵤₜ yₒᵤ'ᵣₑ dₑₐd ᵢₙₛᵢdₑ ⱼᵤₛₜ ₗᵢₖₑ ₘₑ" it read.

My smile slowly went away. Tears started to form in my eyes. I balled up the paper and shoved it my pocket. I put my head in my arms. Tears were starting to stream down my face. I try to make everyone happy. I have seen the future and the past and it isn't pretty. How do I forget these things, you don't....all I can do is try to make everyone happy.

"Karl?" I heard a voice from behind me.

I quickly wiped my tears away.

"Yeah" I said as I put on a smile.

They sat next to me.

"Are you crying" they said as the made me face them.

It was....Sapnap....

"No" I said as I nervously chuckled.

"You don't need to lie Karl" (Sapnap)

"Yeah....I was" I said as I took a deep breath.

"Was it the flower thing? I am so sorry you can have it back and if Dream was being a jerk I am so sorry he can be a real bi-" He said as I cut him off.

"No it wasn't it's something else" I said as I cut him off.

I stopped smiling. Tears were forming.

"Do you ever.....Do you ever feel like you don't belong here? Like you are not....real. Out of place in a way" I said with tears streaming down my face.

"Yeah I used to....you need to find the right people and talk about your problems, keeping them bottled up doesn't help" Sapnap said as he wiped my tears away.

"I am here if you need me" He said as smiled.

We leaned in closer. I smiled.

"Thank you" I said as I looked away.

I looked at the grass as it swayed. Sapnap watched with me. I felt....calm. I closed my eyes and let the breeze hit my face and moved my hair. I felt Sapnap's hand on top of mine. Sapnap quickly pulled away. I grabbed his hand and held it.
