Crashing and Burning

"Are you alright?" Dream said as he looked at me worried.

I cleared my throat.

"Yeah....yeah" I said as I stood up.

"That's a lie" he said as he stood up as well.

I stayed silent.

"Your face just went from smiling to visibly upset, what's wrong" (Dream)

"Um"

"I am your friend, you can tell me anything" (Dream)

"It's.....it's about Sapnap"

"Ooo" (Dream)

"Not "oooo" I am just stressed about him"

"Why is that?" (Dream)

"We......kissed on 2 occasions, and well he is a immortal and I am a mortal so how would it work, and you said he wants a girlfriend but I am not a girl, I don't even know if he wants us to be a thing or just a friends with benefits thing it is all just so......confusing" I said as I leaned on the tree in frustration.

"Hm" (Dream)

"Really that is all you have to say?"

"No, do you like him? No no do you love him?" (Dream)

"I don't know? I haven't been here mentally except for when he is here, I feel like my life is just crashing and burning and he is saving me but I an only brought back to where I feel miserable, I don't know if I am ready for a relationship and I feel I will hurt him in some way"

"Wow you mortals all really think alike huh" Dream said as he chuckled.

I looked at him with confusion.

"That is exactly what George said to me" (Dream)

"Oh"

"Do what your heart feels like doing" (Dream)

"That could be good advice but also bad advice" I said as I giggled.

Dream POV

"Yeah" I said as I laughed.

Karl seems like a nice person with just so many worries. He could use some advice. Definitely not from me. Karl suddenly froze. He looked like he saw a ghost.

"Karl?" I said as I waved my hand in front of him.

His eyes turned fully white. It was a bright white. They were...glowing? He began to fall. I managed to catch him.

"Alissa" Karl said quietly.

Alissa? I carried Karl and began to walk home. He looked like he was sleeping. I put his arms around my neck and carried him to my house. As I began to reach my house I saw Sapnap. He looked angry?

"Sapnap?" I said as I looked at him confused.

"So you have George and now you are cheating on him.....with Karl" he said with an upset and angry tone.

"No no Sapnap it's not what it looks like" I said quickly.

"Oh really then tell me" he said as he clenched his fists.

"He passed out when we were talking"

"Yeah yeah sure" he said sarcastically.

"Sapnap move" I said as he was blocking the door.

He shook his no.

"SAPNAP WE WERE TALKING BECAUSE WE WERE BOTH UPSET THAT GEORGE IS IN THE MEDICAL TENT AND HE PASSED OUT AS WE WERE TALKING NOW MOVE" I shouted angrily.

Sapnap was shocked.

"I- I am sorry I didn't mean to-" I said as he cut me off.

"It's fine I was just angry I thought you and him had something" he said as he opened the door.

I rushed inside and set him on the couch. He looked peaceful except with some twitching now and then.

"So um shouldn't you take him to the medical tent" Sapnap said as he shut the door.

"No, he is okay.....I think he is possessed?"

"Possessed?" (Sapnap)

"I think his soul isn't in his body"

"What?!" Sapnap said as he rushed to Karl.

"Relax, I think he is talking with Alissa, he said he name when he passed out"

"But she is....dead" (Sapnap)

"Yeah"

"Sapnap" Karl whispered.

Sapnap looked at him and smiled.

"At least you know he is talking about you" I said as I laughed.

"Yeah....I guess so, is George okay?" (Sapnap)

"Yeah he just sort of lost his mind" I said as I sighed.

"He tried killing himself?" Sapnap said as he towards me.

I nodded my head.

"This is getting out of hand we need a plan, we are the immortal people we need a plan" (Sapnap)

"Yeah"

"Man if only Techno was here" (Sapnap)

"He had some unfinished business in another kingdom but we don't need him"

"Yeah, okay so what should we do?" (Sapnap)

"Lets say you were to try to kill me how would you do it?"

"Impossible, you are immortal and a demon" (Sapnap)

"Exactly, and XD is a god, we need to get him weaker"

"But how?" (Sapnap)

"Spells"

"Now where are we going to get spells from?" (Sapnap)

"Karl"

"Alright" (Sapnap)

"And me and Karl will try to find the person who summoned him"

"You and Karl?" (Sapnap)

"Yeah me and Karl were talking about it"

"Huh" Sapnap said as he scoffed.

"Are you mad?" I said confused.

"No.....WELL OF COURSE I AM" (Sapnap)

"Why?"

"WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO HIM?!" Sapnap said angrily.

"Do you realize how stupid you sound right now" I said as I laughed.

He stayed silent.

"He is allowed to talk to other people and you guys aren't even dating....do you even like him?"

"Yes I think" (Sapnap)

"You think?"

"I don't know" (Sapnap)

I just shook my head in disapproval.

We heard groaning coming from Karl. We rushed towards him. He was twitching. He stopped twitching and opened his eyes. He was breathing heavily. He sat up and looked terrified. He looked at us as he was looked like he was going to cry.

Sapnap looked confused and worried. I suddenly felt him pull me down. He had grabbed onto my shirt and yanked me down. He began to hug me tightly. I could hear him starting to softly cry. I felt his heart beating rapidly. Sapnap was silent. I hugged him back. He began to whisper in my ear:

"If we don't do something soon, George will......die"
