My heart dropped. We stopped hugging. I looked over to Sapnap who looked hurt.

"Sapnap" Karl said as he got up and hugged Sapnap.

"I love you I love you I love you" Karl said as he hugged Sapnap tighter.

Sapnap hugged him back. I smiled at them. Adorable.

"Why the sudden remarks?" (Sapnap)

"Because I love you I really do love you" (Karl)

 Next day 3:26 pm Karl POV

I walked out of Dreams house with the beaming sun in my face. I shielded my eyes with my arms. I let out a sigh and put on a smile. I walked into the medical tent.

Dream POV

"He told me he loved me, he really told me he loved me" Sapnap said as he flopped on my bed.

"Yeah he really did" I said as I chuckled.

I grabbed a hoodie and put it on. This all just seems so weird. Karl knows something....I could feel it.

"Did you give him the necklace?" I said as I put on my fingerless gloves.

"Yeah I did" (Sapnap)

I fixed my hair and let out a sigh.

"Where are you going?" Sapnap asked in a happy tone.

"To visit George"

"Oh yeah, George" he said in a more serious tone.

"Something wrong?"

"Just that mortals confuse me you know" (Sapnap)

"Well you were a mortal before you turned immortal"

"Yeah but I have experience you know, I take risks now" (Sapnap)

"Yeah because you can't die idiot" I said as I laughed.

"Yeah you're right" he said as he laughed as well.

I waved goodbye and went out the door. The sun was out and bright. I shielded my eyes with my arms and headed to the tent. I saw the bed was empty. Karl was crying. I went up to him.

"Karl?" I said as I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Dream" he said as he hugged me.

"Where is George?" I said as I looked at the empty bed.

"I don't know" Karl said as he stopped hugging me.

He grabbed my hand and clenched them.

"I am worried....XD is back" Karl said as he let go.

I ran out of the tent. Tears began to stream down my face. I ran to the village to try and look for them.

Time skip        5:37 pm
He wasn't there. I asked around. No one knew. I went to the palace. No one knew. I started to breathe heavily. I ran to the last place I could think of......the field

I ran up the hill to see George with a knife.

"Dream" George said as he waved the knife around.

"George....put the knife down"

"No" he said as he chuckled.

"George...please"

"Dream....no matter how hard we try my life will never be the same, I will continue to fail, I will continue to suffer, why don't I just stop it? Why don't I just end my suffering? Why don't I stop the pain" George said as he laughed.

"Stop...please"

"DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? WE ALL DON'T GET THE BLESSING OF BEING IMMORTAL, WE ARE MORTALS WE CAN'T CHANGE THAT." (George)

"HOW IS IT A BLESSING GEORGE? HOW, TELL ME. IT IS SUCH A BLESSING TO WATCH PEOPLE I LOVE DIE. IT IS BLESSING TO NOT BE ABLE TO FALL IN LOVE BECAUSE THEY WILL DIE. IT IS A BLESSING TO WATCH THE WORLD AROUND BURN. IT IS A BLESSING THAT EVEN WHEN EVERYONE DIES I WILL STILL LIVE. I WILL LIVE AND SEE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING DIE" I shouted with tears coming down my cheeks.

George was silent.

"And you know what I can do?" I said as I wiped my tears.

"....what?" (George)

"Absolutely nothing, now tell me.....how is it a blessing"

"I....don't know" (George)

"Put the knife down George"

"No, I won't" (George)

"I killed my father, Alissa is dead, everyone around me dies, I am just a link in the worst chain, for godsake my father killed my mother, why don't I just break the chain. I can be free. Karl can even rule the kingdom without me" George said with a smile.

"You can break the chain, you don't have to kill yourself to do it, the people love you. No matter what they are with you, they know what you have been through. No one deserves to go through that"

"They don't need me if they have Karl" George said as he held the knife to his neck.

He was smiling. Tears were forming in his eyes.

"Karl needs you, Sapnap needs you, Your people need you.........I need you"

"You...you can find someone else" He said as his smile dissapeared.

"No I can't, I won't find someone as caring as you, I won't find anyone as amazing as you, I won't find someone who puts others before himself, I won't find someone.....who is you"

He slowly put the knife down. I quickly grabbed the knife and threw it to the ground. George began to cry. I hugged him.

"Plus I won't find someone as sexy as you" I said as I chuckled.

George let out a soft chuckle. I could feel George's heart beating.

"I am sorry" (George)

"There is nothing to be sorry about, lets get you home" I said as I held his hand.

We walked to my house. George laid down in my bed. He was exhausted. I gave him some space and went to my kitchen. I looked at the counter and there was a note.

"Meet me at the bridge over the lake at 6 pm" the note read.

I looked at the time and it was 5 minutes till 6 pm. I put my hood up and went out the door. I ran towards the bridge. It sky was beautiful and the sun was going down. I looked at the bridge to see Karl. I walked towards him.

"Hey what's up?" I said as I smiled.

He looked into my eyes and pulled my shirt. He brought me closer to him. We were face to face.

"Dream......kiss me" (Karl)
