The coach starts everyone off with a simple full up to get us used to our new groups, but after that things get intense! He wants us to do a double up next, I mean their pretty easy but with a new group? I don't know if I can...
I'm guessing Jack notices because he whispers in my ear "you can do it I'll be right behind you I won't let anything bad happen"
All I can do is nod my head, he's so sweet and hot and just perfect I think I'm breaking up with Toby if both Emma Jack and I end up making the team. I'm lost in my own thoughts when jack pinches my waist lightly and I snap out of it only to see the coach heading towards us and in time to hear jack whisper "Am I still distracting you?" And I can practically see his smirk
"Ok I'm going to count from five, Emily jump in on one, bases sink on six,and hit the top by the next one" the coach tells us
All I can think is how he KNOWS MY NAME!!! But I have to focus because the coach yells
"Ready. 5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1"
We do what he asks and HIT!!!
"Bring it down. that was very nice, graceful and fun to watch"
"Thank you sir thank you so much" I reply
"Emily and Jack please call me Liam. Oh and work on switches now please I'll be back in around 10 minutes"
After that he walks away...
"JACK DID YOU SEE THAT HE KNEW OUR NAMES!!!"
"Yeah and did you see I was right there for you" I don't have time to respond before he pulls me into a tight hug, and I hug him back
"Excuse me but we should get to work on the switches" one of the bases say
"Oh yeah of course I'm so sorry" I turn to look at her
"I'm not" I hear jack whisper and it makes me laugh

Nothing important happened the rest of tryouts at the end the coach or should I say Liam thanked everyone for competing but unfortunately he didn't have 200 spots on the team and wished everyone the best of luck for the 2015-16 season and hoped to see some familiar faces at the first practise either with large co-ed or another team at top gun. After that I feel Jacks hand slip around my waist and he pulls me into a hug! And even after tryouts I can still smell his cologne and I like it, but I don't like the meaning of this hug it feels to much like a "I like you and I want to see where this leads but I don't know if we'll ever see each other again so for now goodbye" and it SUCKS!!!
I'm pretty sure we stand like that for at least 30 seconds before I force myself to pull away. But as soon as I do I regret it because I can see the look of disappointment in his eyes and I don't like it.
Emma comes up and hands me my bag and Jake hands Jack his
"Emily can I borrow your phone mines dead?" I hear jack ask and I hand it to him
I see him text someone something and them hand it back turned off... I'm hoping that he put his number in because his brother has his phone but you never know.
"Ok well Jack and Jake I hope to see you again"I say as we wave goodbye
"I really hope so Emily" Jack says obviously with his famous smirk.
As Emma and I get in the car and head for the airport.
