The prep

"Finally!" I yell as jack parks the car in front of the hotel we're staying at with the team.

"Haha your the most impatient person on this team." He laughs as he says it and gives me a kiss before heading over to unload the suitcases.

"Emily you have one bag?"

"Yeah I only need one why?"

"Well Emma brought around 20. And the rest of the girls on the team brought at least three!"

"So?" What is he hinting at?

"Well Emily I like that about you, you pack lightly then you don't take $hit from anyone, you stand up for yourself and others, you respect people, your smart, funny and caring Emily to me and everyone else, your perfect." I smile, I mean of course I smile, who wouldn't smile? I kiss him and right now at this moment I forget about everything and it feels like we're the only two people in the world. And it's at this moment I realize that what jack and I have isn't temporary it's forever.

"Ok split up come on." Emma says as she pulls us away from each other. I laugh when I see jacks scowl before turning away to help unload some bags.

*meet in room 1999 at 10:30 tomorrow morning BEFORE getting ready for comp.* as I read this I smile because if we're not meeting until 10:30 that means we're not competing until late tomorrow!

"Did you hear?!?" Jack asks me as he barges into my room with jake in tow.

"Hear what?" I ask him as I start to put my laptop away.

"We're not meeting until 10:30!!!" I laugh of course he would be excited about this, there's nothing jack likes more than sleeping in.

"Yes I did, but hearing it said aloud makes it that much better." He laughs and jumps on the bed I'm not and snuggles in under the blankets.

"I feel sorta sick..." That's not good, when Jack feels sick he gets sick, quickly and badly.

"Jake can you bring him some tea? And I'm going to text Emma to get some noodles from the lobby oh and can you get Hannah in here?" Jack looks up at me questionably

"What are you doing?" He asks me

"Remember the last time you were sick?" He nods

"Yeah I was practically dead I had zero energy and I couldn't even eat." Suddenly he realizes that the same thing could happen this weekend and I can tell it's the last thing he wants.
"Thank you." Is all he says before Hannah barges in the room.

"I have some Tylenol and a moist cloth! Where is he?!?" I laugh at this I mean there treating it as if he has a life threatening condition.

"Emily this is serious." I nod and salut playfully

A few minutes later Emma barges in.

"I have the tea and noodles!" Emma blurts out a little loudly than necessary.

"Hi Emma come join the party." I say annoyed

"Someone's jealous." she pauses as she takes in the scene before her. "Ok everyone but Emily Hannah and me out, Now!" Everyone in the room starts to file out the door and if housewifery why I said everyone or who everyone includes, every girl on the team.

"Emily I understand kind of but look at him he's fast asleep in your arms... holding your hand." As she says this Jack forcibly moves me so that he's the big spoon and his arms are around me in a protective cuddle. We all laugh but Jack sleeps through it, I swear that boy could sleep through a tornado... And I'm not over exaggerating.
