It's finally the big day! And I think that if we hit we could get a paid bid!!! But it's up to us now the coach gave us an AMAZING routine but if we don't execute it, we will not get out bid. But I'm so excited to preform because not only is it my first competition on Large coed but it's also my first competition with Jack by my side.
As we head to the practice gym Jack holds my hand and A LOT of people take pictures.
"don't be surprised if you see us ALL over Instagram and Twitter later." Jack whispers to me before kissing my ear
"What, why?" I ask him confused
"Because according to some people, we're the cutest couple ever! And I agree"
"Hahaha" I laugh at this but not because he's wrong but because he's so right "yeah we are, aren't we!" He nods and kisses me right as we get to the doors of the practice gym.
In the practice gym we start getting warmed up
50 jumping jacks
After this we stretch and Jean comes up and starts talking to me about the routine and my concussion. When Jack notices he comes up behind me, grabs my waist lifts me up, turns me around and walks away from Jean. it causes me to laugh and he just says "I don't like him."
"You don't like him because he flirts with me, and because he let me do my double. But I don't like him, I like you." I reassure him
"Oh I know I'm not worried"
"And why is that?"
"And partly because your so amazing and nice and I know you wouldn't do something like that." he answers me
"I'm amazing?" I ask
"Oh yes definitely." He says with a smirk
Just then coach yells
"Ok onto matt A, lets warm up our opening stunt quickly ok"
We warm up the stunts perfectly, NO ONE FALLS!!! But Tammy has a bobble, but no surprise there she always bobbles unless she's with her Favourite group which happens to be mine.
When we get to the tumbling strip coach comes up to me.
"If you don't want to do your kick double in the tumbling you don't have to." He tells me
"I want to and I can coach, I appreciate you worrying but there's no need for you to ill be fine." I tell him with a lot of confidence
"Ok I trust that you will be, so go be your perfect little self, oh and try to be more cocky and confident in your stunts I mean your point flyer for a reason." Coach reassures me
Right before its my turn to warm up my tumbling jack kisses me on the cheek and whispers
"You can do be worried you perfect"
I smile right before I go

Back stage we're all a little nervous, I haven't practiced for three weeks
Tammy bobbled in the stunts and pyramid
Some people touched down while warming up tumbling and Kenna had a scary basket.
So Jack, Jake, Emma and me just reassure each other and that's when the teams music ends and we're up next. I anxiously turn to look at Jack and just kissed me and says "I know you can be perfect out there everyone on this team knows it the audience knows it and the coach knows it, the only person left is you, if you believe in yourself you'll be perfect out there. So believe" he says before taking my hand.
In the following few seconds the announcer says
"Now please put you hands together for the past three years undefeated world champs, in the senior level 5 large coed level please welcome... TOP GUN LARGE COED!!!!" As soon as he says this I can hear the crowd and boy are they ever loud it's amazing and sends adrenaline pumping! Emma, Jake Jack and I run on stage and get into our opening positions and Jack kisses my cheek before going to his spot.
I start with a kick full kick full basket and then a handspring, whip, whip double to the front after that I do a round off double whip double with half of the boys and then Tammy does a round off double while the other half do round off whip double. Then the first stunt jack says "you can do it believe in yourself" when I'm in the handstand and I reply "just hold me up there" and then we flip up to heel stretch and as I mouth the words to the song trying to be sassy I look over my shoulder and everyone is up and stable!!! Then we switch three times before going into platform and since I'm in the middle I do some motions, and it sounds like everyone in the crowd cheers louder I notice everyone is in the air while I'm in my needle and everyone is up!!! Then we double down before going to jumps. the rest of the routine goes nicely and since Jack and I tumble together after I land my tumbling line (kick double) he kisses me and runs to his pyramid spot I laugh for some of the pyramid. But we hit!!! And in the dance EVERYONE is clapping and at the end the arena is SUPER loud and I look for jack and see Tammy is trying to hug him but he rejects her and heads straight to me when he reaches me he lifts me up twirls me in circles as he kisses me and says "see I told you, you could do it!!!"
And then he puts me down and we run off stage!
As we watch the video of our run everyone claps at certain points but when they see my sassy motions they all cheer!
Everyone is proud of each other and think we did amazing after that run and I just hope the judges feel the same way!
