So we got first at NCA and it was the best moment I've ever experienced, the roar of the crowd the excitement everyone on the team had when we weren't announced second the feeling of accomplishment and joy when they handed us the first place trophy and banner! And the only feeling that was better than winning first or level five grand champs, was accomplishing it with the two people I love the most.
My sister, Emma and Jack.
Jack and I have been together for 6 months now and it's gone by so fast. I've loved every second of it! Without him I don't know if I could have made it this far, he's pushed me to become a better person and to strive to be the best and never settle for second he's probably the only reason I'm still on this team and not given up on my goals. And I love him but when his ex showed up he started to distance himself. And I don't know what I did.
Jacks POV
"Emily is my girlfriend now mikla, and I love her." I don't know why I picked up her call, I guess it was just muscle memory when I saw her name light up on my phone.
"But you used to love me."she says in a whisper.
"Exactly used to, as in past tense!"
"But it doesn't have to be past tense." I hear her say over the phone
"Mikla you cheated on me, with my best friend, in my bed. If Emily ever did that things would be different but I know that she would never. So I'm sorry but this isn't happening. Good bye." I hang up the phone because I know that Emily would not appreciate her calling me let alone me picking up! Jeez I love that girl WAYY more than I should!
Miklas POV
I know he knows that he still cares about me and I still love him. It was a mistake ever giving up on him. I shouldn't have done it but I did now I just have to fix it. And the easiest way? Getting Emily out of the picture.
And doing that is actually pretty easy. He says things would be different if Emily wasn't so loyal if Emily cheated on him. Well Emily doesn't have to cheat on him for that to happen, Nope all that needs to happen is he need to think that Emily cheated.
