Driving home

Jack and I are alone in the car because Emma and Jake decide to go to the beach and find their own way back.
"You can tell they like each other." I hear Jack say
"Yeah it's kinda funny to watch, Emma's always been the outgoing one, so she's always gotten the guy first or started dating a guy first so she's used to being in a relationship fast. she's getting frustrated and just wants him to ask her out already so maybe that'll happen tonight!!!"
"Yeah, hopefully I mean I know he likes her, he tells me constantly and he always talks about her."
"You know it's funny, Jake always says you talk about me constantly non stop and your annoying." he laughs at this
"You know I might just be worse than him"
"Well I'm not any better. To be honest whenever I'm with Emma your all I talk about. I'm sure I'm annoying" I say embarrassed and when I'm positive my cheeks are bright red he pulls over looks at me and says
"Your the most beautiful, amazing girl I know, your different but perfectly different and that's why I love you." at this moment all I can think about is kissing him so I pull him in close and kiss him he's surprised at first but then kisses me back and pulls me in closer when I'm pretty sure we've been missing for like 2 minutes I pull away but I see he's smiling and that causes me to smile. Then I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, it's from Toby. I guess Jack see's my expression change because he grabs the phone from my hand.
"Who's Toby?" He asks protectively
"My ex" I answer truthfully
"Why's you ex texting you?"
"I don't know Jack I don't ok look at our conversation I haven't texted him in a month!"
He checks and when he realizes I'm right he just looks at my and says "I'm so sorry Babe your right I shouldn't have jump to conclusions, but your to good for me and I think when he texted you I just got jealous and I'm sorry." he explains sincerely
"It's fine Jack, and I'm not to good for you. but can I see my text now"
"You are. Yeah sure!" He whispers the first part
The text says
Emily I'm so so so so sorry for everything I did I regret it immensely. But I want another chance. If that's ok with you we're good together and I think you know that. So just text me back please. I still love you always have always will and I think you do to.
