"Hmm? What?" Amanda picked up the rabbit in her hand and brought it closer to her ear, as though to be speaking to it, "No, I know," she chuckled, "She does look shocked to meet the real us, doesn't she?"

"Hmm? What?" Amanda picked up the rabbit in her hand and brought it closer to her ear, as though to be speaking to it, "No, I know," she chuckled, "She does look shocked to meet the real us, doesn't she?"

Y/N's eyes flickered a bright green as she tilted her head and waved her fingers, in an attempt to get into her mind and make her see her worst fear.

"That's adorable," she ridiculed, "Your mind games don't work here, toots. They never will. So don't go giving yourself a migraine," she went to place the rabbit on the table, next to the uncanny book, "We've got loads to do."

"Where are my children?" Y/N glared, her accent showing up.

"Where are my children?" the woman drawled in mockery, "Oof! that accent really comes and goes, doesn't it?"

"Where are they!" Y/N thrust her hand in front to send a blast, but nothing happened. She blinked in surprise and stared at her hands.

"Your magic's no good here," Amanda smiled and flicked her wrist upwards. Y/N's arms and legs snapped behind and she was levitated off the ground. She grunted and yelled in pain as the binds tightened around her wrists and ankles.

"Didn't you notice?" asked Amanda as Y/N took deep breaths, "Basic protection spell? One in each wall?"

Y/N looked around at the symbols on the walls Amanda pointed at.

"No? Nothing? These are runes, Y/N." Amanda circled her like a hungry vulture, "In a given space, only the witch who cast her runes can use her magic. How do you not know the fundamentals?"

"Who are you?" Y/N snapped her head to her, looking away from the runes.

"What the hell are you?!" Amanda shot back, "All those costumes and make-up. I was so patient. Waiting for you to reveal your true self. But you'd rather fall apart than face your truth. You know, I thought of bringing your ex-lover. Pietro. Add a bit of drama to your little sitcoms?" Amanda remarked earning herself a cold glare, "But then I went with his sister, Ms. Wanda Maximoff. Fake Wanda. Faximoff, if you will. But no dice."

"That was you?"

"But his body was in another continent, not to mention, full of holes. And his beloved sister Wanda, your best friend, abandoned and rotting away on an alien planet,"

Y/N closed her eyes and let out a shuddering breath.

"Soon after, Amanda Harkness made Y/N take a trip down her memory lane," the Watcher said, "Each one only got harder than the previous one since Y/N got to watch her life take a dark turn from afar. From the shell collapse in Sokovia to losing Pietro Maximoff in the Battle against Ultron,"

Y/N and Amanda were watching a memory right after the collapse of Sokovia, where Y/N and Wanda had moved into the Avengers compound.

Y/N watched as a past version of herself was perched on a bed, leaning back against the headboard with a pillow on her lap while Vision was seated beside her with his back to her.
