⌚24 HOURS LATER

Somehow, the news had reached Wakanda about the situation in Greenwood Heights, Brooklyn. Shuri was immediately captivated by this news and being the inquisitive person she was, she decided to aid S.W.O.R.D. Not because she wanted to help them, but simply to feed the curiosity within her.

With a lot of persuading with her mother, Okoye, and Ayo, she was able to convince them to travel on her own, without any Wakandan soldiers by her side.

Now Shuri was in a tanker truck with a few other unfamiliar faces, travelling to the S.W.O.R.D site set up at the outskirts of Greenwood Heights, Brooklyn.

"Hey, you," Shuri called the middle-aged man in front of her, "What's you're field? What do you do?"

"We're not supposed to talk to each other."

"Hmm, typical American Boy Scout leader," Shuri deadpanned and faced the woman next to him, "And you?"

"Nuclear biology," she answered after hesitating for a moment.

The Wakandan princess turned to the man next to her and he replied, "Artificial intelligence."

"Medical engineering and technology, and Astrophysics," Shuri added, pointing to herself, "We got the full clown card. It means S.W.O.R.D has no idea about the 'threat' that they're dealing with."

"I'm a chemical engineer," the man from earlier finally spoke.

"No one cares."

"Alright," the driver spoke as he stopped the vehicle, "Grab your gear," the back door opened and Shuri stepped out of it, walking past various agents and checking out the site.

"Your Highness."

Shuri turned around to see an agent approach her.

"We have your gear set up inside."

She followed him into the main tent where it was crowded with a sea of Air Force and S.W.O.R.D officers. She watched the window at the far end where a drone rose into the air and flew forward, only to be swallowed by an invisible force.

"Fascinating," Shuri muttered under her breath and turned towards her workspace where the man was standing, "What kinda data are you getting from the drones you're sending in?"

"I'm afraid that's highly classified," the agent crossed his arms.

"Typical," Shuri rolled her eyes, letting her back fall from her shoulder, and sat down on the chair. She unzipped her bag and started to get to work, pulling out a peculiarly shaped device that was square-shaped in one end and cylindrical in another.

The device started to show several variations of signals at the same time, surprising the Wakadan, "Woah," she muttered, "Woah, Woah, Woah,"

"What are you getting?" the man took a step forward.
